Actually, no current gen console displays in 1080p (it's 720p scaled up) so the whole streaming in 1080p thing is not actually 1080p. I've had a friend bump the floor while his 360 was on a desk, and the freakin' thing put a huge ring on his MW2 disc (no joke). Blu-ray isn't really necessary on a console, but blu-ray discs allow for a greater amount of data storage. I'll admit a Last.fm app would be nice, but PS3 allows you to go to the actual website, so that part evens out.
The only thing better on the 360 is the online...which isn't free.
Technically speaking, the PS3 has better hardware. It also doesn't scratch the discs like people claim...bump the floor five feet from your 360 and it puts a huge fucking ring on the disc. I can't say that MoveTM is glorious, but Kinect tech has been out for years (EyeToy, anyone?). It's wasn't new even at launch. PS3 can also do blu-ray and actual internet while the 360 has a retarded Facebook app.
@CutThroat192 xbox 360 does not scratch discs a familly member acidently kicked mine whilst the disc was in full spin and when I took the disc out it had no rings no light scratches, no scratch damage of any discription so what you said thats bullshit. kinect is worse than an eye toy, ps move is worse than the wiimote move on and get neither. well lets see 360 has zune which streams in 1080p so why do you need blu-ray. facebook sucks the last.fm app is nice though.

Ive owned 1 PS3 and it broke after 5 months and couldn't be fixed, Sony offered a 5% discount... I had my Xbox for 3.5 years and the only thing wrong with it is that every once and a while it won't read the disc.

I've never been disconnected from a game on my PS3. But when I bought a 360, I got disconnected from 8 games out of every 10 games. Also, my 360 got the RROD 2 weeks after I bought it, I threw a book at it now it looks ugly as hell. I'm sticking with my PS3. Now, I finally all my work in Middle School, High School and College is paying off.

I have mentioned this on every PS3 and x-box comparison video I've watched if I work out the amount of money that I have spent on my x-box, (including insurance which covers the reapairs it has had) I am £750 better off then I would have been with a PS3 same amount of games, as I use my console as my dvd player blu-ray costs. Seeing as you are probably American that is $1500, my car cost less and as a student I don't even have that amount of money. To me that makes PS3 to expensive!
you could have still played your DVD's on a PS3 and upscaled them to 1080p and PS3 and 360 prices are almost exactly the same nowadays, so unless youve bought like 750 games or 325 DVDs in the last year then it wouldent have made that much of a difference, and if you can afford them then £750 wouldn't make much of a difference to you

you could have still played your DVD's on a PS3 and upscaled them to 1080p and PS3 and 360 prices are almost exactly the same nowadays, so unless youve bought like 750 games or 325 DVDs in the last year then it wouldent have made that much of a difference, and if you can afford them then £750 wouldn't make much of a difference to you
