  • Grammar is not a good indicator of intelligence. So many people seem to think that it is. I used to think the same until a few "uneducated" people out smarted me on certain topics.   • Color has nothing to do with her technique. In all honesty I have seen better technique, but her technique is pretty good for hand weights.

  • On every single video this woman makes we hear the words "navel" and "spine". I really have no idea where she picked this up. Your navel does not come into your spine when you deadlift. Not unless you're The Buddha, and have lived for 7 years starving yourself until you could push in through your stomach and touch your spine.

    This is a straight-legged deadlift. Its an archaic exercise. There are better and more effective ways to train the target muscles without putting you at risk for injury.

    "The next exercise I'm going to perform is called a deadlift" -- exact quote.

    She starts off wrong by picking the weights off the floor with her back rounded and legs straight - though this isn't part of the actual demonstration, a person should get in the habit of always picking things up properly so you do it as second nature.
