this was my first android. I have the samsung admire now. I love it. If my touch screen could be fixed, I'd still be using it. If you're looking to upgrade, though, the samsung admire is really cheap now and a lot faster. I reallly enjoyed this phone though. Like the person below me said, it's very durable (despite my breaking it). It also put up with a lot from me... I downloadeda lot of apps and it still managed to run smoothly.

I have this phone and there are some things that I really hate-it's kinda slow, and some messages don't send, and I know that this is just my personal opinion but it's an all touchscreen phone and I COMPLETELY HATE all touchscreen phones I NEED buttons..just puttin that out there lolzz

when i first got the phone i loved it . 2nd day it was going crazy, for 5 months like every 2 days i had to take the battery out and put it back in . it freezes, it takes 1 week to download apps, some texts don't send , when you play a game it freezes , it restarts randomly whenever it wants to . and i pay 50 bucks a month for it . and in calls it hangs up randomly .

Do not buy it. Trust me. It freezes. Now I'm not those people that criticizes the phone for like a couple of problems. No. This phone freezes if it gets too hot. And it's not like it will freeze and unfreeze. IT WILL LITERALLY SHUT DOWN! Let's say your on the web and it freezes. When the phone starts back up, the site you were on would not work. The battery if horrible. Not more then at least 4 hours. Before it is like warning you to charge it.

Warning: Lg optimus sucks. I had it about 6 months. and its always freesing on me. and when i go on facebook or youtude it freeses. Sometimes i feel like trowing it againts the wall. Good thing i am getting the Samsung Craft for xmas.

Also you can add your downloads to the initial installed apps.. you just have to go into the menu, hit your menu button, tap "move item", drag your screen down to the downloads, long tap and move to where you want it to be. If you decide to UNinstall, the sections will be separate.

You can goto the video entitled "LG Optimus M From MetroPCS: Tricks, Clocks & Apps" to see how to easily change the shortcuts that are on the dock to something else of your choice. So they ARE able to be modified... (sorry cutiepie, I still love you)

@Sasu123456789x1 All I know is i wanted this phone with metropcs, but there is no coverage in alabama so i'm gonna get the lg optimus v for virgin mobile, I would recommend this one to you because it runs off sprint network which is fairly good, but you can go to metropcs.com and type in zip and see if you got coverage but you probably won't because metropcs sucks!!!!!!

@dnf751 you can download opera mobile or opera mini...you get internet no matter what...Opera mini has less access to websites opera mini has but its faster... Opera Mobile has a lot of access to a lot of websites but its a bit slower than Opera mini... :)
