It might well be viewed as a rubbish title sequence now, but back then, it was proabaly the best they could do with the equipment and budget! It wouldn't be truly 70's if it wasn't just a little bit crap would it? Reminds me of Mk I Capri's, Space Hoppers and powercuts! Only 3 channels on TV, one that only transmitted for part of the day, and the shops all closed half day Wednesdays and Saturdays!!!

@bigmatt2724 i live in Dutch speaking part in Belgium , born in 54 .. i was 18 when Blockbuster was a huge hit .I must say , bringing back memories , on our tv station there was no chart , we looked at Avro s top pop ( Neherland ) two channels .We listen to Veronica , pirate radio station .No internet , no gsm , no cd .But we were happy with what we got ....going out to local bar where you could dance .... must be at home at midnight .. is it better now ?
