The same freakin thing happened at our Fourth-Of-July party, back in the Seventies.Yeah,this freaking raft,just like this one is paddling out into the Cove, just off of P.B. Point.Yeah,just inside of OldMans reef.The raft was loaded down with Mom,Pop-n-the kiddies.Probably Ca-Johners.Yeah,they're headin outside and a set wipes um all out.I mean it's like,ice-chest floatin around,the rafts upside down.Kiddies are bobbin-up-n-down.Paddles,every­thing floatin around. Nobody died though. Hum.

Hello sorry but LONG time uk surfer here (uk - as in small waves) that was 2 foot wave maximum (ie a 'normal' 4 foot face) - not life threatening at all, they jsut mistimed it and DAd screwed up....stop being so bloody dramatic!

They were never Double Overhead as already mentioned on here, as a Surfer myself for many years i would say 3-4ft max, unless them Surfers at the beginning were 12ft tall.
