The Air is kind of better, but its like 1700 bucks. It is very slim, so it will probably break easily. It has no CD-Drive (that is what I have heard), but it does have a Headphone Jack, 2.0 USB jack, and some other port. My Friend has the Macbook Black, and it is really awesome. Basically all of the same features, but smaller, has a CD Drive, has more ports, and costs between 1100 Bucks to 1500 bucks (depends if you want to upgrade it)

I would get the Black Macbook, and get accesories for it.

(Continued)If you do choose to get a Macbook Black, be sure to pick up a Mighty Mouse, they go for about 50-80 bucks. Beleive me, this WILL pay off in the long run. My friend who has the Black Macbook didn't hjave a Mighty mouse, and he got really ticked off because he had trouble right-clicking. It is not like any other laptop, it is a 1 click bar instead of the 2 click beside the touch pad. My friend just got his Mighty Mouse, and he found it easier to do everything with it.
