  • Congratulatinons on an excellent piece of work: a lovely actress plus great music !

Deborah Kerr is the only actress who could have played Our Lady: beauty, innocence and wisdom in one person ! That is rare. It's a pity that there are no actresses like that in Hollywood these days. Christina Hendricks reminds Deborah physically but doesn't seem to possess these inner qualities.

  • Monikllie - you have great taste! Thank you, thank you! And what is the wonderful music?

  • It is a marvellous song, played by Enya.

  • She is incredibly beautiful! :)

  • Tomorrow will be 30 September. Let's all remember Deborah on her birthday. Her eyes were blue AND green AND grey, depending on the light and the colour of the clothes she was wearing.

  • I really love Deborah in this film, she even looked more beautiful and glamorous here than in The King and I.

  • Lovely--- perfect choice of music.

  • I've like all your videos of Deborah Kerr and Yul Brynner very much! There's something haunting about them that's very appealing (and original). This one too. I especially loved the transition at 1:27, when it went from white screen to a marvelous closeup of Deborah Kerr's glorious Technicolor beauty. Wonderful!! thanks very much.

  • Thank you for your kind words. There is one thing I don't understand. In "What's my line", it was said that Deborah's eyes were green, but in each color film I've seen with her, the eyes are blue. So, after all, what's the color of Deborah's eyes?

  • I didn't catch that on "What's My Line" about green eyes. Is that the one with Lucille Ball? I think Deborah Kerr's eyes are blue, and they can look kind of blue-green. I would never think to say she had green eyes. But that's just my opinion:)

  • Her eyes are blue and beautiful, just like the rest of her. It's pretty hard not to fall in love with her, in my humble opinion! BTW this vid of yours is great! I love it!

  • @MonikIlie Right!!! That's what I was thinking! But I'm am 99% sure they were blue. In an article, Deborah was quoted saying something about how lucky she was with her 'timing' because when she was just starting out is when Hollywood was looking for red heads with blue eyes and porcelain skin and she just fit that profile perfect....Or something like that. :)

  • A goddess she is. Very beautiful! A job well done.

  • Thank you. In fact, I intend to make some more clips with Deborah, in different roles.

  • This is beautiful! Thank you soo much for making it!

  • I am happy you like it. I've sent you a private message.
