Modern JW's didn't "concoct" the name, as it's been around for centuries. If you believe in the Christian Greek scriptures, you also believe in the plan of salvation that transcends being a physical Jew. Why do Arabs have a name for God and address Him by His name, and Jews do not? El, Eloah, Elohim, yes are all Hebrew. However, they all mean "God" or "mighty one". That is a title, not a name. When the Bible says "God", the Hebrew word there was El or Elohim. When it says "the LORD", what was there was the hebrew word yod-hey-vav-hey (YHVH), His personal name. It is usually pronounced either Yahweh or Yehovah. He has many titles, but one name.
