you dont know the background of this great film: it tells about the high poverty and social problems in the shahtime. after the film was released and when Dariush sang the song "booye gandom" shah throw him for 5 years to jail!! yes, thats true, everybody who lived in iran in the 70ies should know that! please dont deny that shah was a dictator! the mullahs are even worse, i know
@payampg poor shah didn't kill takhti. he didn't kill anyone. he even once forgave the one who shot him. all good memories we have is from his time. he was a great man. he gave away his kingdom in order not to kill anyone.

Yeah Shah threw Dariush in prison because of a song, he wasn't arrested because he was a junkie.
Shah killed Takhti, he didn't commit suicide like he's wife and son both said before and after revolution.
It's because of people like you that we are living all over the world instead of our homeland Iran
