  • Soo, did you take any pics of you wearing the costume?

  • wow, you r talented!!

  • This is why we don't snort cocaine kids

  • so this is what you do in your spare time.. u know most girls ur age go out drinking... but this seems more fun idk how lol!

  • good job.. it looks really good

  • oh man you can like use this as a rain coat!

  • it looks like your doing a dance at 4:40 lol

  • looks like your taking the shapes out of a big fruit roll up.

  • @bewilify someone should make a fruit roll up scostume

  • whats the songs name?

  • owo, nice job n great song

should put one of the costume being weared thou

  • picture of it being modelled would be nice.

  • ¡Tú eres muy paciente!

  • i will buy one i am 11 years old if you deside to sell one

  • I'm sorry, this was a one-time project, and I won't be selling duct tape coats any time in the future.

  • woah! so.... it only took 10 rolls of duct tape to do that whole thing??

  • Give or take. Probably a roll or two more, to include the hat, but one roll goes for quite a ways if you want it to.

  • Coins are not stupid! But much better than quarters and nickles is to use large washers. Actually they are just as some professional pattern weights (only those are painted). The galvanized ones are best as those can't rust or such and then make stains on your fabric. Very cheap at a hardware store (in the US, mine bought in Norway were $20!). Mine are appr. 2 5/8 in diameter and the thickness is 4mm (1/6"). I got 10 and for me that's a perfect number (even for a full length gown).

  • can u say fast wow

  • Very impressive work! Congrats!

  • nice outcome

  • Nice legs and body!

  • Couldn't you have just Duct Taped the pieces together? That's what we here did at school for our Duck Tape fashion show.

  • That was an option, but the clothes look very flat. By sewing, I was able to get the ridges that made the coat look as if it was not made of duct tape, but rather actual fabric. It was really a choice of preference, and while it took a lot more work, the coat has held up very well and still looks great.

  • I am very impressed. This is the first time I've ever heard of someone making clothing out of duct tape. Nice work!

  • this is so awesome. ive been planning on making a skirt with low suspenders out of duct tape for a while. i bought 2 rolls of duct tape and these awesome buttons for it, but i havent had time to make it. ill use your video as a format. i thought that i would hand stitch it...would it be easier if i used large needles? or should i just use a sewing machine?

  • I recommend a sewing machine. Duct tape is thick for hand sewing. You'll need a bottle of rubbing alcohol nearby to clean the needle often. It gums up from the glue, and this causes the needle to break faster. This material will likely break the needle, so I recommend buying a couple extra ones if you don't have them already. Take your time, be patient, and take a few practice runs on some smaller practice pieces so you get an idea of what it's like sewing this stuff.

  • either way use something like rubbing alcohol to clean the needle as often as possible. it could break your sewing machine if you use it and get the special needles for sewing thick cloth like denim, leather, vinyl, etc.

  • awesome is it a hobby or occupation?

  • Just a hobby. It was something to "pass the time" while I was off learning about my real occupation. :)

  • you're a trooper! i'm impressed! duct tape clothing and such is so frustrating!XD i made a corset recently and it was so intense!

  • how did you do that?

  • a corset? i used cardboard as a busk and put it in strips at the lacing and lined the holes with straws because i was lacking eyelets

  • tha hell your on steroids and crack =D(jk i know u fast forwerd it

  • that was freaking awesome

  • you should really get yourself a table!

    But; nice work!

  • omg that was so awesome xD

  • This is absolutely amazing. my friend Ari would adore you for this and expecially the Carmen Sandiago Hat video. She's planning on going to Comic Con as Carmen.. I'm deffenatly forwarding yoru video to her

  • i want to collaborate with you--i make products on the spot--my fake company is art2go.

  • Let me get a dollar :D

  • wow sei bravissimaaa

  • thats neat

  • This was amazingly cool. Why didn't you stick the pieces together with more tape? Would that have been harder or screwed up the measurements?

  • Tape would have been alright, but I was worried that it would have changed the measurements, and also come apart. I wanted the coat to not be just a large piece of duct tape, and sewing it gave it the tell-tale ridges that made it look better.

  • good point. i can imagine seeing the seems up close. makes it even more impressive actually. You deserve major props for this one.

  • Haha, that's really cool! Nice work.

Don't wear that when it's hot out :P

  • That was awesome

  • you're a floor person arent you

  • iyiydi :D

  • WOW!

It looks just like the real thing!

  • HAHAH seriously WHAT? Why?

  • In the future if you plan on using the coins to hold down fabrics it makes sense to use tape to make strands or pads of coins. I haven't personally ever tried doing it but it would hopefully save you some time.

  • Haha it took me a while to rememer where I heard of Bond before. then I remembered I had heard them while I was in Hong Kong. awesome outfit.

  • lol i saw ass

  • that was very nice hard work pays of

  • i love it!

  • i red the word sandiego! YEAH GO SD!

  • wow nice

  • duct tape can be used for absolutely anything. think of a problem and the solution can be duct tape 9 times out of 10

  • Walk the Dog- make a duct tape leash, tie one end to a moving car.

Destroy the World- you could try making a huge sheet of duct tape, cover the rain forests with it, and then watch all life die as a result.

Lvl WoW- duct tape someone to your chair and don't let them leave until you're leveled.

Feed You- duct tape a sandwich to your face. Hunger problem solved (although now you might have a slight breathing problem).

Take the Video Off- now why would you want to do a crazy thing like that? =)

  • nice shorts!

  • Holy crap! Very impressive!!

  • Nice, i gotta try to do a trench coat off duct tape some time...

  • That's amazing! How about condoms out of duct tape?

  • lol nice

  • You must be really sweating in this thing!!!

I know a guy who made himself a duck tape tuxedo and he was really sweating!

  • wow you move really fast

  • Clever and cute...do a bikini next.

  • 4:40 looks like shes jamin...

  • ...you have mad skills.

    that is amazing.

  • whoa that's amazing I tried to make pants in home ec with instructions and I failed and got a F on it... You must be a desiner or someone that works with clothes a lot!

  • you make me look bad you can talk on the phone and make a constume and i cant make a duckt tape wallet without messing up like 5 times

  • first of all--- designer... and no your just a moron :)

  • hahaha schveet u read for a while. how long d'it take ya?

  • schveet....wow. All of this slang is really making me schvick.

  • Nice.

  • That is impressive-- you're very patient. And Bond is the perfect music for a daunting task such as yours!

  • I'm pleased to see i'm not the only one out there with a duct tape obbsesion! Thanks you! I love it. Ingenious!

  • woah! XD sweet! I want a coat like that. (could've saved me time on my most recent costume making adventure...then again that must have taken a while......)

  • i dont know what kind of costume that is but im impressed!

  • damn. thats all i can say

  • Did you use songs from "Bond"? Haha. Cool!

  • wow, that was cool lol

  • You certainly are dedicated. That was quite the project. How well did it hold up?

  • A good way to spend four hours?!

  • O.O wow... at first i was like "=/ eeh... shes moving really fast but i have no idea wtf she is doing..." then i saw the ending "O.O I want a coat like that" lol wow just great work ^_^ keep it up!

  • Wow, that's a lot of work. Hey, I know the songs in the video--Bond--rocks.

  • He he, Bond has a beautiful sound, and I love what they do with the classics.
