I'm an Aussie and nearly died of heat stroke when I climbed Ben Nevis in 2003..Was warned about the weather changes ect so rugged up and only had a beanie on. About half an hour into the climb the cloud cleared and temp climbed and I was climbing with the sun sitting on my bald nonce for 4 hours..With hind site I should have headed back..Glad I did it though, beautifull place.

Doesn't matter if you have all the kit if the weather was that bad should have turned back its people like you give it a bad name and also endanger the people who would have to rescue you
We know how to use a map + compass and a GPS and have climbed this mountain MANY times in the last few years, In ALL types of conditions. its not as if we were doing it blind. We have climbed all over the world and never once had to be rescued as we aren't irresponsible, I've no idea why you would suggest that we give it a bad name.
my cousin lives at fort william...awsome place..when your approaching by road thoes mountains dont move from your center vision they so damn big...dont matter if you turn left or right.....they still there right infront of you....
BEN NEVIS is a really commercial mountain in the eyes of most people, and we have been given allot of bad comments for posting a video about it. but to hell with them. Ben Nevis is located in a beautiful Glen and is in close proximity to an amazing town ... go for it mate, its a life changing experience. ... !!! thanks for the comments on the videos mate..
Hi I did Ben Nevis earlier in July and it was a stunner...there was a lot of mist up there so we couldn't see off the mountain and it was gorgeous. There was also quite a bit of snow...so it was a great experience. Looking forward to your videos of the West Highland way. Keep it up!
Hi mate. I did Glen Nevis back in 2000. I wanted to do Ban Nevis but the group I was with didnt, so I missed out. Im back in the uk now so maybe this year i'll get to do it. Yaaaaay. I got a couple of vids of me climbing Bald Rock back home. Completely diffrent but still stunning. Check'em out.
I remember going up that in Feb 2005 with am ate. Complete whiteout, snow blindness, sub zero temps and we nearly died! Stayed in the shelter and i banged my head so bloody hard on the way out! It's tiny in there!
Got a couple of bushcraft vids that need editing, also were gonna be goin on a few short trips within the next month so there be a few new bushcraft vids coming soon mate, hope ya like em

I love Scotland, so much so that I moved up to the north coast so that I can properly explore Sutherland; the last great wilderness.
The storms are epic up here. Last year I got stranded in a bothy about thirty miles out for a week, before the storm broke.
Wouldn't have liked to have weathered the same storm on the peaks.

Excellent, waiting for bad weather to clear in Scotland and you could be waiting for over a week.
