  • That was Grand.

    Peace n love everyone

  • I noticed that you have added many McGoldrick tricks to your playing.

  • Very lovely. Nice job. I'm definitely partial to the lower tuning.

  • very nice melody and nice play.......!!!1 :):)

  • Lovely, but no comparison to the low C Olwell bamboo. Much darker tune in C major.

  • Prove it, Selaretus. Let's hear you play it.

  • Check out "Kilrushband, bath rotary show, greenfields of rossbeigh" I'm playing a low C flute I built. Cheers!

  • Lol! You just compared a nice Irish flute to a nice Owell bamboo flute.

Mind you the Olwell flute is made from bamboo. It's cylindrical. Cylindrical flutes will suffer from not-so-good high 2nd octave intonation.

  • not nearly as responsive or stronger i can tell you that!

  • savage stuff! its a d grinter, new model, based on the ruddell and rose, dunno if thats how to spell ruddell tho.

  • what kind of flute is that

  • I could be wrong, but I think its a blackwood Patrick Olwell flute, probably Pratten model.

  • Grinter flute. Made in AU.

  • upkilt is correct. It's made out of cocuswood too.

  • Nobody will remember this! This was the 1st in a set of reels he played whilst in Long Acre (his 1st band in B'ham) ....I still have a cassette....somewhere...great bunch they were too!

  • You are ze one and only Kevin Crawford. No one can play like you! Great flute sound, by the way.

  • lovely version of Green Fields of Rossbeigh. I fell in love with it when I first heard it and the fine guitar accompaniment on the D flute album. Are you playing a standard D flute by Grinter or is that a C? Always good to hear you play, Kevin.
