this was one of my favourite movies as a kid, and the first time I saw both idle and coletrane (im born in the 80s, dont blame me for my parents lack of intrest in monty python)

I found it on vhs in a second hand-shop 3 years ago, and it was a heppy reunion. crazy brits dressed up in drag, it dont get better than that! :)

They suck up to whoever pays the highest price. Notice how Farenheit 9/11 was completely snubbed for the Oscar for Best Documentary, when it WAS the best documentary of the year? Brokeback Mountain won every single Best Picture award except for the Academy Award (which went to a film not even NOMINATED for the Golden Globe Award for Best Picture), because of pure homophobia.

Sometimes I know how George C. Scott felt when he called the Oscars a "Goddamn meat parade".

Love this film. It's strange how the film is different in some parts for example Brian in the British version says, "You shot Louis you arsehole" whether as he says 'twerp' in this trailer. I wonder why that is; I know Americans say asshole but they would know what it meant :S
