bad ass megadeth, just listening to this album 1st time today so far............. their 2 for 2 no suprise there though. i come to kinda expect that from these guys. your pretty hard pressed to find a better metal band. hats off to the poster!
ok im really glad megadeth kept thrash/heavy metal goin in through the 90's, when all the other bands were being twisted like metallica, megadeth kept it real. by the way i like metallica and megadeth equally so no offense to any metallica fans out there, load and reload were cool too.
this is in my top 3 favorite albums having said that i have lost so much respect for Dave Mustaine after watching interviews with him its no wonder he cant keep a band together. The way he treats his fellow band members is just so unreal.
Wow, I didn't ever notice the differences between the original and remastered versions of this until just now, and I own the damn cassette tape to this album. Especially the "Mastermind" line, it's deeper and a little more electronic sounding than the remaster, not to mention the backing vocals are different.
Raise the flag of voltage, bow to circuitry unknown
Kneel before the processor, lords of static laugh
Electrons in submission, you must know who I am
l love Metallica, Pantera, Judas Priest, etc. They all have some great songs with great lyrics, but I don't think anybody writes lyrics like Dave. Another example is "Train of Consequences". That's just some intelligent writing.
@nirvanaruleforever Agreed. with the exception of the first album KIMB which sounds WAAY better remastered....till you get to These Boots and realize they were forced to bleep censor over the lyrics by the original writer of the song Lee Hazelwood = not lame fail. The guy didn't mind collecting them royalty checks from '85-'01 before the remaster....WTF. But ALL other remasters...yeah pure shit.
the remastered versions are fucking shit, he pretty much took any character that the old albums had and made them more sterile and added cheesy backing vocals. the mid 90's remasters sound crap too, so well done for using the original :)
Wow that sound effect "Mastermind" is really creative. Shame Dave cut that on the 2004 version. That makes me wanna buy another copy of CW because mine is the 2004 version.

This song is probably one of the best on this album. It's got such an awesome groove and riff. Good to workout to.

Half the people who talk shit about Megadeth are to stupid to understand Dave Mustaine or the subject material in his songs.

@sloy2188 That's when he was on drugs. And to be fair, some of his band members did pawn their band equipment for drug money.

@sloy2188 That's his mayor weakness. He has a dictatorial style.
