hey man great vid, Ive got a Gen 4 Glock 22, Love it!, Im thinking about getting a 23 for a back up/Concealed Carry, I think the gen 4s have an anti corrosive finish on the slides may be why its different from the gen 3s.
congrats on the weight, I got sick after the Army and was on meds. I gained alot but now I am losing it . Good luck with that. Is that the 23 ? That is 40SW equivalent of the Glock 19. It is subcompact and is good as a duty gun or CCW piece. I always liked the mid size glocks for that reason. Keep the standard mag in the gun and the 17 or 33 rounders for back up on your belt.
BTW in the future if you want to get another glock and decide to become a glock fanboi :) I'm a member of the GSSF or the glock sport shooting foundation. With that you can buy one glawk a year for the LE pricing whch comes from the LE stock so the gun comes with 3 mags and like the G22, G27 and G23 for example would run 435 at least by me. Might be something to look at.
I have a gen 4 and a gen 3 the finish on the slide is the same color but on the gen 4 it's closer to the finish they used on the gen 2, the Gen 3 has almost a smooth teflon like finish which I like, makes cleaning easy, the gen 4 has almost a military style blackening to it. Personally I like the smoother finish on the Gen 3 but it's not a big deal the 'tenifer" is a treatment done to the metal itself, it's not so much the black finish. The finish is pretty much just a coating.

Just took my the range yesterday was suprise it was really accurate..I own this and a Glock 23..I had a Glock 19 But my 23 is for home defense.

You will love that G23. I have one and it is such a good gun. You can really trust your life to a G23. Mine is a gen3...I would love to try a Gen4.
