i do turkish/mid eastern dance i did do raqs sharqi but found the whole thing rather elitist ( Im from the UK ) i always wanted to belly dance and i love it, it also introduced me to the Goddess & the Divine Feminine - this is probably why i love make up too ! im a 40 something goth too, ty for your reply BB x

Certain styles can seem that same way here. I actually got out of the dance "scene" about 5 years ago due to a sickness but there was definitely a tribal vs traditional/raqs thing with some people/troupes. I did it for the love of the dance and I do still dance my my performance and teaching days are over I think. It will always be apart of me though and I still take classes of different dance styles overall.

I have both of those perfume samples. Well, I had Issey Miyake years ago, I finished that. I got that MIss Dior Cherie for christmas, and I love it. It's got a real different smell. Some people love it, some hate it.

I am a huge fan of the KVD collection. I have just about every single item except for maybe a few glosses and lipsticks. I have everything else. That's actually how I first found your channel-I was looking to see if anyone used any of her make-up for tutorials!

Its like any of the other Friends & Family deals. Its a coupon/coupon code that people receive right around Thanksgiving (basically holiday shopping time) and its good for a few days to a week depending upon the company and you get a certain percentage off. I have a bunch listed in my blog but I think they all expired already. Other beauty blogs have then too. Most major stores offer them you just have to be on their mailing list or know someone who will share the info with you.

I honestly don't know. I'm more on the oily side and I use moisturizer and its great but I'm not super oily. I use it as a "top coat" over my regular translucent powder so that I can make it last longer and its perfect. No shine at all after I apply the HD. I have some some pics of me wearing it in my "mono chrome look" vid.

SAVE, SAVE, SAVE and start a make-up budget and watch for the sales and coupons. I definitely went a little crazy but I always do during F&F deals. Also, ask for stuff for your bday and any gift giving holidays. Get what you can, when you can, and your collection will eventually grow. :)

Nars has a bunch. Russian Red is my fav. Mac red but otherwise I think Nars may be the new Red, they have at least 3-5 amazing colors that I saw at Sephora.

Kat is amazing! She truly is a kickass artist and her pricing really isn't that high when you consider what you get.

All of mine are custom. Don't every pick anything off the wall, always go in with a sketch or work with an artist to get exactly what you want. Its there forever. There are some amazing artists in the bay area. We have a friend in Napa that is great and I can recommend some others in SF. Send me a PM with your email a& I'll send you some pics and some sites to check out.

I hope you do enter. The black gloss is awesome. Not sticky at all and you can really change up the color of what you have on with it. If all YSL glosses are like this I'm definitely saving for more.
