  • Homo sapiens bred with neanderthals, who dominated Europe for some 200,000 years prior, after our exodus from Africa. They had lighter skin, red / brown hair, etc etc. Cooler climate during a glacial period in Europe, plus numerous other factors led to what is known as the Caucasian race.

  • i was looking at ppl from fiji and they look like homo erectus

  • Factual, nice..have you seen 'Breaking The Spell on Blacks?'

    useful info.

  • Skin color depends on geography. The first humans were dark-skinned, in Africa. As humans migrated to northern climates, our skin became lighter because dark skin pigmentation prevents the absorption of vitamin D. In colder climates there is less sunlight, so it was an adaptation to survive colder climates. In hotter climates there is enough sun for people to absorb vitamin D even with darker skin, which is needed for protection against UV.

  • Good upload

  • 1: Mammoths weren't in Africa they would get to hot a die

  • this video is way to slow and boring

  • if we were all black? why arent we all black now?

  • @winnerACE1109 Most scientists would be unable to answer that question, I suppose. Anyway, crosses with different species (Neanderthal? Unknown hominides?) must have got in the way of Caucasians' and others' evolution. Tell me if I'm wrong.

  • @pziglioli Less melanin allows for greater production of vitamin D, thus individuals in less tropical climates would have a advantage in having lighter skin - they wouldn't get rickets.

Conversely, darker skin reduces the risk of melanoma, so those individuals possessing such pigmentation wopuld have an advantage in tropical climates.

  • @winnerACE1109

its quite simple we are not black because some of are black ancestors evolved aka adapted to their new climates .

white skin is beneficial in places with less sunlight as it helps boost vitamin D and helps prevent diseases like rickets which lots of the early settlers in places like Europe was subjected to until they evolved to be white via natural selection .

  • @winnerACE1109

genetic structures changed by years according to atmosphere.

  • @winnerACE1109 Humans are not all black now because in Africa, where humans evolved, there was alot of sun exposure, the pigment that protects from the suns harmful rays is called melanin, the more of this you have, the darker your skin is. When humans migrated to other parts of the world, there was often not as much sun so therefore we didn't need as much melanin therefore some people developed lighter skin colours.

  • @winnerACE1109

THe amount of vitamin D a melanin your body produces differs when adapting to new enviroments over many many many years.

  • @winnerACE1109 Because when the black skinned hominids including homo sapiens moved to colder landscapes like europe their skin no longer need as much melin protection and over thousands of years they became lighter turning whitish in colour facial features became less staunched.Asians have their eyes because of the windy climate they lived in all asians descendent from mongolian humans who evolved a fold to protect the eyes from the harsh winds.

  • There was a sub species that branched off from homo-erectus and only lasted for one generation, its name was homo-floppyus

  • @YamaKazoo What about homo elasticus? :)

  • @YamaKazoo Homo....sexual?

  • looks like regular blacks to me.

  • homo erect-us? why would somebody call it that?

  • THE LAST QUESTION WAS NOT ANSWERED. >.<

  • @theMARXELINO You mean the last question in the video? According to some psychologists, we are different from them in thinking but not so much; they must have granted more importance to ancestors and natural spirits, but for the rest they were definitely human.

  • @pziglioli oh.. now i get it, thank you :)

  • Evolution is a fact.

  • @sabirahmed94 Of course it is. We still have to understand its various stages in detail, though.

  • @pziglioli Religious radicals will stone us to death. Have you ever considered if we human's are still evolving in any way?

  • @sabirahmed94 The amazing thing would be if we weren't evolving constantly. There is no such aberration as a "fixed species". Every living being is evolving as we speak.

Religious radicalism is based on ignorance, so I don't care what those people think.

  • @pziglioli if you want to start form the very very beginning austrolepithecus was our earliest ancester

  • @1425Stephen Thanks for the tip. I'll look into that.

  • @sabirahmed94 Evolution is not a fact, do your research stupid :)

  • lol homo erection

  • @360elitegamers Well yes, the name is sometimes used ehm...inappropriately. :)

  • FAKE FAke fAKE !

homo erectus was made up from scull cap of a gibbon (large ape) and human thigh bone. The Leiden museum and the American museum of natrual history have removed thier displays. So SHOULD THIS VIDEO!!!

*see Bones of Contention by Marvin Lubenow, p.86 creation seminar #3 by Dr. Kent Hovind.

  • @1billion1deaths1 Ok well, do you have any links corroborating this info? It would be nice to compare facts. But why delete my poor video? Not the best on Youtube, but still... :)

  • @pziglioli my information did not come from the internet. It was taught

i guess i dont do the link thing..but im probabolly gonna start.

but i just named out thouse accuall museums..u can look them up and call them.

  • I heard another theory that they could've migrated actually from Asia to Africa. It's so interesting. ^w^

  • @FoolAlym According to most experts, humanity's cradle is supposed to be found in Central Africa when it was still a lush place to live and multiply. Other human or humanoid species have actually been undug in that area, suggesting a diversity we could never think of a few decades ago.

    Let's wait and see.

  • Cryptozoology novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • is this an imatation of how they sounded in the backround?

  • @choirguy210 Well, it's actually a sample of music from the savannah. I thought it would be appropriate.

  • @pziglioli yea it is. its just it doesnt really sound like chimps... they sound bigger.

  • @pziglioli but homo erectus is better known for being found through out asia

  • @choirguy210 Of course not..what you hear in the back are Hyenas.. I recognize their sounds I heard in many documentaries.. We don't know what more evolved apes sounded like.. it's a big mystery.. but aren't the night songs of the Savannah beautiful ???

  • @EuropeanGuy87 yea... but it sounds like monkeys to me. not truely hyenas, but now in days with all the technology they could of distorted the sound to make it sound more deeper. so it just might be hyenas.

  • @choirguy210 Yes you are right they are monkeys, baboons , but in the very beginning those long sounds that kind of goes from up and down.. those are Hyenas...

  • cool video 5 stars from me :)

  • Thank you liljames, this is very encouraging.

  • when i grow up i wanna be the same thing =^.^=

  • Thanks for your comment, eheh.

Will we ever get to know if he could speak properly, if he told stories around a fire?

Some experts claim he even invented sailing.
