My daughter died in May of 1988, she was 3 months old. When I first heard this song I busted into tears and within the family it immediately became "Jennifer's song" as she had blounde hair and the most beautiful blue eyes ever, and we were from Colorado as well. @cpldougswife1 no he didn't. As someone mentioned earlier, Aaron Barker wrote this song. He wrote it about his wife's eyes. I hung out with Aaron at Fan Fair in Nashville in 2002 and sang this song with him. :)
