Correct. 8 Terabytes of HD storage; 5 and change useable, however, the DROBO is set up as one big 16 TB volume, so we will assume that 4 TB drives will come out in the future, and the 2's will get swapped out for 4's.

drobo announced a new drobo, with 5 bays and esata. I also have the same drobo as in the video it works great haven't had any problems. But when a drive fails it can take up to 8 hours for the drive to rewrite the data which is looong.
