Great rig and a wonderful refurb job there! One thing that always unsettles me is to hear modern AM dreck coming out of the speaker of a beautiful old rig such as your Philco. I do a lot of AMDXing on my old Hammarlund HQ160 and I find it depressing how homogenized AM programming is these days. My next step will be to invest in a low-power AM transmitter so I can play music contemporary to the date of the Hammarlund and at least pretend that AM still has some personality. Great vid! Thanks.

Super cool! I have a 46-250 bakelite I am working on now to go with my collection of other old radios!
