My wife and I went there on our Honeymoon. We had such a great time on the tour we stay the night in nine mile and walked around like we lived there. It was a little scary at first but before you knew it we were on a guy named Joe's porch listening to him tell stories about Bob. We ate at his house and had a red stipe with him. The thing I remember him saying is if you have nothing you need nothing !

I was there 2 days ago and visited NIne Mile Resort.

It is not a safe place, so be aware.

Always go in large groups. It is all about money.

15 $ was an entry fee as a start, and after that you will see it yourself after you pass first gate.

I was told by a one black guy that if I had payed 20 $ him for a weed, I would haven't come alive out, so here you go.

That is a real truth about Captain Crazy.

nine mile isnt really that bad, granted there is quite a bit of crime there , and they do bother you a bit tryin to get u to buy weed, its only because they are poor there, if you treat them with respect theyll return the favor, I had a blast there, sum dude tried to sell my a spliff for 15 but i just strait up told him ide get it cheaper back home and made him give it to me 2 for 10, some other kid gave me about a half gram of hash for only one dollar ( i kept tellin him i didnt want....

Ok that is absolute bullshit. I just got back, I went in a small group of 4, entry was 10 bucks, I got a free spliff from a guy when I walked out, I smoked the whole trip. I was very fortunate to have Captain Crazy for a tour guide and had the great fortune to actually have a conversation with him after wards before his other group came in. Yes, times are very hard there, so they do rely on tips and tourism to get by, but I will tell you one thing, no one is going to hurt you there.
