Although I cheer your ideas,efforts and hearts, you must know that goverment weponry has advanced to the point that even citizen small arms would have virtually no effect on an agressive army. So i guess the question is what's the point?

@microorgani your right, Im in the military now, the air superiority is the main advancement then when you include armor, and artillery which militias do not have, it would be very ugly if an uprising were to try to happen.

@mwyatt787 Think again, the opposing army will be surrounded 360 degrees 24/7, from an army (if only 3 percent fought back) of around 12 million to possibly 80 million. All the tanks, planes, or artillery on earth including the manpower of all army's combined couldn't stand against that. Consider the VC, out gunned on every aspect but they still won. The soldiers on the opposing army don't stand a chance in hell of going home alive.

Actually, rights come from GOD - not from the Founding Fathers. The Founding Fathers penned a document which offers a framework to protect these rights. I agree - it's important to defend the Constitution, but be aware that these rights exist even without that document. Specific rights were recognized by the Founding Fathers and they strove to create a society where these rights would never be infringed upon. It's important your foundation of knowledge be complete and true.

requirements to join militias? no. freedom should be the only requirement..whoever agrees with forced militias is incorrect and hypocritical...how would u feel about a mandatory civilian police force ( government run)?

Just a lone lady who can't afford one. I never thought I would live to see the day I needed one. Wish I had one. I once told my older brother, who has since passed (fought in the Nam era) that I would fight with him if needed here on American soil. I will live to see it. I'm a former Illinoisan...Hooya. Some of us are prior service, And train our men. a lot of these guys are just regular joes that want to help. They don't have to be BuDS trained or have gone through WLC just to train and lead men.

Seriously, I have never seen one video on here that demonstrates any tactical movement or military discipline of any kind. I just see a bunch of people walking around like they're lost in the woods. This prior service experience you speak about doesn't seem to show the slightest bit or your men aren't taking you seriously. I just see a bunch of guys and gals with guns...that's all I see

Nice Video Tom. Militia is more or less a term that frightens people, and makes them think of radicals and "neo-nazis". Think of this term instead "Defence Force". I joined ILSL because I wanted to help make a difference and I believe in all the core values that they share.. I stand ready, and so should you. The only thing that could make this more understandable for people whom are confused, would be state recognition and organization.

go talk to your local sheriff, hes legally the one in charge. he can legally have his own posse, or legal militia. just informing him about what your doing is something to think about. he will probably feel the same way about your views. a sheriff supersedes federal law enforcement in his county

@AmLibFront i to am also an armed hippie. armed with bullets and knowledge i believe we must always try for diplomacy, but sometimes it fails and we need to stand and fight for our rights. i don't think its whether or not we arm ourselves that we need to worry about. we need to worry about awakening the millions that are under the spell of tyranny. the greatest battle of our generation is that of ignorance.
