  • This turns even the toughest parent into a marshmallow. This is the ONE thing I hated about having a baby. Luckily mine is almost 5 now. What a sweetpea!

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • What a skinny baby

  • So cute

  • awww

  • awwwwwwwwwww

  • aww brave at the first shot'

  • poor baby but brave at the first one

  • awwwww

  • i feel so bad but the nurse said she will get mad

  • She's an angel! WOW! That was not that bad!!! at all!!!

  • That's a good baby! My nephew is exactly the same way!!!!!

  • awww she was so brave at the first shot!!!

  • hahaha i love babys. its like when they get hurt they cry for ten seconds then daze off.

  • cutes baby i have seen so far on you tube

  • @cookiepuss Why limit them to relatively trivial things as measles? Try something nasty like polio.

  • @blooberchik1 The antivaccine Luddites need to go back to the bad old days when kids died of what is now vaccine-preventable disease!

  • Amelia is one wiggly baby, don't think I've seen one squirm that much!

  • she didn't even cry. amazing!

  • Wow, that baby screams very loud. Poor baby :(

  • Wow, good doctor. :)

  • she is ssssooooo adorable

  • WOW! She handled that really well. She recovered quickly. Good baby. Nice nurse

  • I like the use of the topical anesthetic I have NEVER seen that used before ... and I had many children. It's about time someone thought of that!

  • wow

That was like a 5 second scream

The first one she didn't even react

  • she is sooooo cute! god bless u guys!

  • Holy crap braver then me

  • Holy crap braver then me and im 11 XD

  • shes quite tough for her age most babies cry the first shot she cried the second

  • @navy678

I think the spray that the nurse applied numbs the skin...making the injection less painful. It would be a really good thing if all doctors had anaesthetic patches or spray available for use with babies, children, and very anxious adults.

  • aww xxx

  • she's such a beautiful baby. such cute little eyes ^.^

  • Awww, she is such a sweetie, and she's such a brave little girl, too! Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl (even though she's older now)!

  • That's an extremely beautiful baby! :D:D she's so cute!

  • She has the cutest cry!

    Such a sweet baby.

  • She's so beautiful, and she did so well!

  • Nice that they put numbing medication on her before the injection....You don't see that too often in pedi offices.

  • aw on the second he cryed

  • what a good baby! absolutely adorable. poor little nugget.

  • The spray they put on before they gave her the injection numbs where the spray goes

  • P.S. Kuddos for this video. I really appreciate how lovingly you comforted your baby right away! I'm also surprised he did not cry for the first couple of shots. :-)

  • acting like a baby!!.......wait........

  • i love this baby shes so cute

  • Oh she is a beauty! God bless her

  • Oh too bad. How come the first one didn't hurt? I remember when I took my baby in for shots. I was crying!

  • ooh she's pissed

  • I HATE SHOTS,i love babies

  • Brave Girl

  • poor amelia,shes cute

  • she is adorable! And I love the name Amelia

  • I'm not a parent but I probably would tear up seeing my baby get a shot

  • Cute little girl...also the way that nurse handled it was amazing. She picked her up right away to comfort her, very good nurse you have there.

  • I thought the same thing, I will remember her technique when I next give an infant a shot. Wonderfully done and the baby did amazing. I've only had a couple babies take an injection so peacefully. :)

  • aww she is sooo cute! :)

  • Shes adorable! i wanna hug Her ! <3

  • The baby is strong.

  • Btw She had her shot, so i say She is one brave girl

  • wow either that spray works really well or that is one tough little girl! maybe a littlle of both? but i think its mostly Amelia is a real trooper!

  • that nice they have the spray anestetic...my daughter is 11 and scream her brains out at every shot when she was young, wish they had that then. i used to cry right along with her....i felt so bad for her pain but it was the right thing to do.

  • why can't they numb us when they give us shots? lol. and why do all the babies get the nice doctors? jk.

  • @blockoutalltherest I used to be scared of getting shots so much that the doctors numbed my arm. Recently when I had to have my 3rd Gardasil shot, I was so brave enough to handle the shots without any numbing :)

  • aww that was so good that she held her after so the baby knows that she did not do it ito hurt her.

  • I am surprised that Amelia did not even flinch the first time, but I kind of feel bad that she cried the second time. That would make me feel terrible.

  • she said "all done" before she took out the needle

  • she said all done after she took out the needle listen more closer

  • your baby did way better then my baby bro he cryed for like 10 min

  • I wish they had used numming gel or spray for Lilike as a newborn, the held ehr down and tried to get a needle stick into her veins for her 4th day of antibiotics, but she screamed red faced and thrashed aboutm even a 1 year old size dummy pusehd into her mouth did not calm her and then they wanted to do a scalp iv over thigh injections they said the thigh injections hurt and it would be easier for her to find a scalp vein, came back for the shaven hair and they had done thigh injections?.

  • That babys adorable, but the doctor was really good aswell to cuddle her (:

  • whats the spray the lady put on the baby so that the baby dont feel anything??

  • i have never seen a baby who likes shots

  • he dosent like shots the lady put some of that spray so the baby dint feel anything

  • and she cried becuz the needle got stuck

  • hahah guudd

  • I remember my first shot I didn't enjoy my shots there was some that i couldn't take because of my Allergies. I am so proud of your baby I hope you can take some more from her other appointments. I hope you are doing well. Quadracer687..

  • so cute

  • lol, at that nurse, and big girl.

  • Strange. The first one barely even seemed to phase her, but the 2nd one seemed as painful as all get-out.

  • aww sooc cute haha

  • aw, this is so sad. i nearly cried when she cried. :(.

  • Wow, she did really good!

  • Why do people think that vaccinations are cruel? They protect our children from harmful diseases. If they didnt have them, things could be so much worse.

  • its a wise word..again..lol

  • May God forgive them, they do not know what they are doing to this child.

  • Yes, may God forgive us for protecting our child from disease.

  • every one who hates protecting kids from diease should go a year or just not get the shots they are critsizeing and see what happens to them

  • Yes, because alot of people don't know what actually is IN vaccines, and yes, Doctors are liars. There is actually NO LAW saying you have get immunized and if Parents actually read what is in these things, the mental supressents and the OTHER crap they put in, they wouldn't do it

  • @antivaccines It'll be funny when you're all upset cuz your kid has chicken pox or something else that can be prevented by vaccine :P.

  • @juliefisher4000 It isn't funny, it's sad.

  • @antivaccines yes may god forgive my parents for keeping me safe from * Hepatitis B * Rotavirus * Diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (DTaP) * Haemophilus influenzae Type b (Hib) * Pneumococcal (PCV) * Inactivated polio (IPV) * Influenza (flu) * Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) * Varicella (chickenpox) * Hepatitis A * Meningococcal

  • @antivaccines may god forgive your ass for lurkin these baby vaccine boardz tryin to make parents feel like they'r doin suttin wrong when they are not..they'r protection there kidz from flu'z etc and u wanna spend ya life protestin...fyi nobody listenz to a internet protester who doesnt have a clue

  • @antivaccines from a person with the name "antivaccines" you are just looking for trouble lady...or dude ... hope your kids ENJOY measles . If you dont beleive in things like this, then why watch the video..How old are you 12? Quit trying to start drama. These people are trying to keep their baby from getting sick and dying. If you choose not to give your child/children vaccines, thats your choice and might I add, DUMB .

  • Does she have a vision problem? It looks like she doesn't make eye contact and kind of stares into space.

  • No, she sees quite well. She was only 8 weeks old at the time of this video, so she wasn't particularly "interactive" yet.

  • Aaaw poor little baby, my lil sis cries too......i got three shots today n cried fur a little bit

  • aww poor kid

  • I can do it faster!! I would've been done with that baby's shots while she was still doing the first one!! =)

  • Overall, this little baby did much better than the majority of babies getting vaccinated, who just wail and wail to the point of exhaustion.

  • what's wrong with posting this? It shows me why I will NEVER have a little one like that. All they do is cry, cry, cry, cry - whether they're getting shots or not.

  • Interesting rationale. LOL On the contrary, the vast majority of the time Amelia is a little angel. *Some* babies cry and cry non-stop, and *all* babies cry at least occasionally, but then again so do many grown ups.

  • getting a shot in that part of the leg must be really painful.

  • POOR BABY!!!

  • why would you post this? so the whole world can see this baby scream in pain? if that's the case, I think it's demented.

  • Is it demented to cause the child to scream by immunizing her in the first place? No, of course not. It is necessary; the child was not harmed, and she is healthier for it. What's demented is publishing videos of people getting injured. This video portrays a routine medical procedure, that Amelia found scary for the first time.

  • I couldn't agree more that it is important to immunize children. My issue is that this video appears that it was made to humorize the screaming of infants. Why not "cut" no later than a second or two after the shot has been administered. We don't need to hear the gratuitous screaming, that is all.

  • A baby in pain is *never* humorous. However, nor is my video intended as an instructional documentary on how to administer pediatric immunizations. I included the full span of time from before the shot was given, until the baby is calm and content again with her mother. There's nothing gratuitous about that. Regardless, I thank you for submitting your honest opinion. It is far more useful than many of the thoughtless comments to be found online.

  • It isn't demented in any way. This is just a video of a baby's first shots. Thats all. Not to show the world a screaming baby. The poor thing does cry but because it is the only thing it knows how to do yet. So no that was not the point. It was just to show the world how poud the parents were of the child.

  • Thank you. :-)

  • This child's scream!

    Oh the poor little girl!
