The guy comes through big seemingly out of nowhere. Plus he is fairly healthy for the Rays, and a better lefthanded stick this year than Papi overall. If he plays 100-120 games a year, so what, we've got 5 very good to excellent outfielders in Elsbury, Crisp, Bay Kotsay and Drew. Platoons work just fine and JD can keep saving his biggest moments for October as he has now done 2 years in a row.

I give TB a lot of credit. They won the season series against the Sox fair and square and that was ultimately the difference in the series. If the sox had the homefield, I'm certain we'd be going to the WS. I say congratulations to the Rays and their fans for an amazing season!
