Officially, there are whole policies dealing with non Muslims in Muslim lands. taxes, how they're dealt with legally [a judge of their religion is brought so that the person may be judged according to their own religious beliefs or the equivelent, rather than forcefully judged based on Islamic law], so on and so forth. they're treated as equals in Muslim lands.
