it looked good until u revealed wat was under the stencil...i liked it better wen it looked like the view was on its back...also it does really make sense that the fire is in front of the dragon...bt the glow of the fire is behind it?...if its behind it shudnt ther be a shadow of its wing?
it looked great until you added fire to the trees. that just messed the whol thing up. the fire technique works for the dragon but i suggest finding a better one for something that's burning
really bad-ass. I only get to spray out side and the colors dry really fast so I need to use a lot of the clear to make them not dry out on me, I tried this way of making fire and I think the clear makes it not mix well.
@spraycasso really? uhmm ok cool because they are nice and cheap. I will put some more time in to it, maybe I need to not spray out side in the summer months when it is dry and hot. Thanks for getting back at me!
Do you keep a stash of tree and dragon stencils in your tools so when performing live you can just whip a landscape like that out? I know in a lot of cases if one of my demos takes even 10 minutes, I'll lose over half of my viewers.
@TheArtisticBiker i dont carry tree stencils but i do have several stecils i carry such as dolphins, lighthouses etc...i recommend you stick with beginner -intermediate when painintg live because you're right the audience will start to leave if it takes more than 4-5 minutes. if you want to impress the audience with a master or advanced painting get the main focus of the painting started the night before the show.

@juriaan13 yeah i would think the clear would make it too runny. what brand of paints you using?
spraycasso 1 year ago
@spraycasso For now, still learning the ropes I use cheap Wal-Mart brands. I bet the more costly brands will work better.

@juriaan13 no not at all, i prefer the walmart brand over the rest.
