Hey Bulls fans, it was 13 years ago today that Jordan hit that game winning and championship winning shot to beat the Utah Jazz 87-86, pouring in 45 points.-June 14, 1998 a "real" clutch shot.
I am appalled at the presentation of the player intros this year. First they dim the lights for both teams. Then they go into commercial break between the intros. WTF is that? There was nothing like the feeling when they were about to announce the home team and the lights go out.
2 days ago I was listening to this song in the car w/my buddy as soon as the song comes on he goes-DA BULLS! Were on our way to Wal-Mart doing the whole lineups of DA BULLS, roll by the H.S. & the kids are out their when we reach from N.C. at guard 6'6 Michael Jordannnnnnn.....!!!!! These kids are like what's your problem? We saw 1 of our teachers she just smerked like I got ya guys if these kids only knew who MJ was instead they have the wanna be -Lebron James!
Lebron is a fly compared to MJ. When all is said and done, Lebron won't even touch Pippen, Bird, Kobe, Magic, Shaq, Malone much less Wilt, Russel, Kareem, or MJ.
The Jazz would pull themselves together in Game 4 in a better, though vain attempt to tie the series, but lost 86-82. Dennis Rodman, who skipped practice between games to attend a wrestling event, was an unlikely hero, hitting the critical free-throws at the end of game 4, and shutting down Malone throughout the game.
When I was younger, my parents and brother and I made so many trips to see these Bulls play. We made the five hour drive from northwest Ohio a few times each season. It seems so long ago, hard to believe I witnessed such greatness so many times.
@OReallyYaRly My guess is that you are 16 at the oldest and never saw Jordan play. That would make your ignorance understandable. Or if I'm wrong and you're older, then you're just an idiot.
@OReallyYaRly I swear that this is the most stupid, immature, ignorant, most likely to be a teenager without knowledge, moronic comment to go down in HISTORY of youtube.
Michael Jordan is a basketball God. LeBron and Kobe are just little ants.
Your an idiot. Let me know when he wins 6, count 'em 6 titles and dominates year after year like Jordan did. And by the way....he did it with Pippen and an average supporting cast at best. Keep your mouth shut unless you know what your talking about.
I was like 7 years old when this game took place....man if only I was a few years older I would have been able to witness and fully understand how legendary these bulls were DURING that time period...but I was too young. Still I am proud to be a 90s baby.:)
who knew that two games later Michael Jordan would hit one of the most memorable shots in NBA history?
Ok, I have a plan. I am going to build a time machine. Any interested parties should use pay pal to send me just one dollar. When I have enough money I will build the time machine. I will take everyone who gave me a dollar, back to Sunday, June 14, 1998, and I will have tickets for everyone to enjoy this game in Utah.
Can you imagine being on the Jazz...seeing the lights drop as that music starts playing, the 5 previous championship banners illuminated in the rafters?
You can't tell me it doesn't psych some players out.
chrissinewman, usually I make myself to keep in mind what it was like just before I could possibly dunk the ball. Ever since I made use of the workout program at "50inch vertical [dot] com" - my game has been improving alot - I'm no longer on the bench!

chrissinewman Play basketball? Then you gotta check out - 50inch vertical[dot]com. You must take a look! I m 5 5 and started dunking just after 4 weeks of the training!
Just saw the Lakers intro of game 7 of the finals. Reminded me of this one, and what all of you said: there is none like it. It still gives me the goosebumps some 12 years later. Just glad I was able to witness Michael Jordan...
i always loved that intro the bulls used. the new orleans saints can use that theme all they want, but Eye in the Sky will ALWAYS be the theme song for the chicago bulls of the 90s
@gymelef1 i hear what your saying.. but as i watch the new players i just know the person who would likely beat MJ's record or Probably level with his. isn't born yet. Lets wait for 10 more centuries or so.. =D
chrissinewman, is 5 6, white and can dunk easily. what do you mean white men can't dunk? It's all about the training folks do to get their jump to be strong enough to dunk. But for me, I just used the professional jump workout over at 50inch vertical[dot]com
#VIDEOPOSTERID#, usually I try to recall exactly what it was like before I was able to dunk in bball. As soon as I put to use the exercise program at (50 inch vertical [dot] com) - my game has been increasing quickly and I'm even a starter now!
#VIDEOPOSTERID# you play ball? you need to take a look at this - 50 inch vertical (dot) com - It's a specialized workout that will help you begin dunking without even going to the workout room it's not required
#VIDEOPOSTERID#, I play basketball every week. I'm simply 5'9 and I can dunk! I just took the training workout at | 50 inch vertical [dot] com | - anyone can do it
chrissinewman amazing, other things can I say. If you play basketball, you need to all learn the way to dunk, I just recently done the workout program at 50 inch vertical (dot) com - I wish I did it sooner (I m just 5'6!)
yo chrissinewman, I m training to maximize my vertical leap by performing the exercise course over at (50 inch vertical [dot] com) - and so far gained past 8-9 inches so far but I m still a a little off from dunking the ball It is only my third week thus far, any tips?
Very cool. I spent 3 months in Chicago (summertime) and it was one of the best times in my life. Greetings from Germany. By the way - click my profile to see my pictures from Chicago.
chrissinewman, This is why I play basketball, along with all the dunking. If you can't dunk yet, you have to start practicing. I definitely advise you to try the one I'm using - | 50 inch vertical [dot] com | - I m 5 7 and I can dunk!
this chicago line-up was the best ....lebron james and kobe bryant can kiss my ass as well as their fans !!!

chrissinewman amazing, other things can I say. If you play basketball, you need to all learn the way to dunk, I just recently done the workout program at 50 inch vertical (dot) com - I wish I did it sooner (I m just 5'6!)
