  • This boat is junk and would be an extream Disappointmen to anyone who buys it. The Propel Pedal Drive System clamps or snaps as you might call it ,snap like cheap plastic if it hits somthing , because it is cheap plastic . The Drive System clamps are made this way to protect the Drive from damage... The boat is overpriced at $1,800 and its Drive mount System will need a compleat do-over if there tryen to match up next to Hobie...

  • @TheYakbum have you owned one of these yaks?

  • would i get tired of pedaling if im trolling for fish if i do should you just paddle with the oar when you get tired

  • Very good video !

This should be THE kayak I would enjoy to use. More secure than a ultimate (unsinkable), easier to control and to board in, better floatability.

    It looks very steady also.

How fast is this boat, if I cranck for a long trip (not too strong, but not too slow) ?

Does the pedaler remain dry in choppy conditions ?

Can it have a sea kayak homologation ?

  • Thanks, had a blast shooting footage and catching stripers on the Roanoke.

I've been waiting anxiously for the "tunnel hull" of the Ultimate to be married to my preferred SOT style of boat and the Mariner did not disappoint. Super stable and more practical when river fishing.

I'll get top sustained speeds for Propel and Volt asap.
