Athiests are getting their proof now after all this time of ignored historical evidence by the religious right, that all three middle-eastern origin religions have been the cause of war, famine, slavery, manipulation, murder, and greed. This kind of propagandizing of history is what has led many Americans to be so out of touch with the rest of the world. America is presented as some type of utopia, which is complete bullshit. America may very well be a nice place, but there are a lot of nice countries, that are also free & democratic (often more so). As long as the U.S. feels the need to teach it's children that they are better than the rest of the world, the rest of the world is going to see them as bullies & snobs.
