No, because Miku's a soprano, and her voice pitch is different, which would have clashed with the tune. It would have overpowered the music and been pointless.
This way, you get a voice and music underneath it.

yeah i know.. but still, a normal boy of such age cant reach that pitch. none of the boys i know that are 14 can sing like that. o.o;

Some boys can, but they have to practice really hard. A boy who sings just for fun can't reach that high tones, yeah. :)
