  • I love the sound of the Ovation, but the rounded back keeps sliding off my leg when i play it.

  • @VisualK3i94

I've had the same problem since the late 80's and just finally got an idea to help, so I had my guitar tech put a piece of leather in the arch of the guitar where it sits on your leg. It's thin enough to no affect the sound, but durable enough to last many years... and it's completely stopped the sliding. I was originally going to go with a piece of neoprene, but leather seemed more durable. It's only glued on, so it can easily be replaced if needed,

  • just made me love my ovation even more :D

  • more like the old pervert guy from family guy!

  • That is the guitar I want.

  • Cool! If I had one, the pick wouldn't fall inside that freaking hole anymore... -_- oh my noobness

  • @gokharol funny you say that, bought a used one and got home to feel something rattling around inside the guitar and out fell a pick :) still the pick I like best with the guitar funny enough

  • ovation and richie sambora just awesom thats all i gotta say

  • these guys have got to be butt bumper buddies.

  • @PooPooOnMyNewShoe yes they are butt broncos no doubt

  • Shame he didn't play it right.

  • Эх блин, супер гитара, жаль стоит дороговато))

  • I can't believe you all are critiquing the sound of this guitar based on a crappy camera phone video. This I have had multiple ovations as well as Martins and I would have paid a lot more for this guitar. It's has a very rich tone. I was excited to have an onboard tuner when I started buying ovations but I never have to use them. If you go to ovations site you'll see there is not a whole lot that separates the cc44 from some of the higher dollar ovations. At least not in the 700 to 1300 dollar

  • every guitar center acoustic section looks exactly like that haha.

  • i love ovation

  • Hi Cleveland haha

  • lol at the cameraman!

  • @yhtomitalmighty lol same

  • sounds like shit..and the high e i still not in pitch

  • @Knutli when he played f# and g on the high e it sounded in tune, but not when he played it open it sounded a little flat. i think the intonation is slightly off. the playing isn't great but the tone is pretty damn good for a $500 guitar that plays as beautifully as that one does. it's not going to sound as good as a taylor, martin, or takamine though.

  • @Knutli you sound like shit...its sound is beautiful...

  • @pancakesrulz you dont have a clue...at all.. If i say it sounds like shit, its MY OPINION, you fucking dickhead!

  • @Knutli L O L

  • @Knutl sorry for answering so late :D but WOOOOA why getting so upset?

  • DId the camera guy have an orgasm?

He reminds me of Cleveland from Family guy

  • i better go with takamine solid wood guitars with great pre amp :D

  • 0:33 - "Oh my . . ."

  • @JHarrell89 hahahaha that's hilarious

  • i heard that this guitar sounded completely garbage when it wasn't plugged in, is it true that without an amp this guitar is really really quiet?

  • @oweeno123 Actually, its sounds a bit dry unplugged. And no, it doesn't sound very quiet.

  • He said CS44. Isn't it CC44?

  • @Areelex yes

  • thought that was a girl lol
