  • Atheism- So utterly convincing, so mindblowingly cleaver, so scientificly revealing, so philosophically chanllenging, so theologicly sound that only 8% of the global population beleive in it.

Keep it up Atheists , maybe in another 150 years you might hit 16% - then you can give the Zoroastrians a real run for their money !

  • Why is it that on the back of the board shows high level calculus when the teachers talking about a different subject

  • *Sneeze* sorry, Im allergic to bullshit and stupidity

  • Underbart och inspirerande!

  • What would be the difference between these two scenarios?

#1 God exists, but no one believes in him.

#2 God does not exist, but everyone believes in him.

In my opinion, #1 is a definition of a purely atheistic world.

#2 is an entirely religious world.

One conclusion of this utterly simplistic comparison would be that discussing the existance of God is quite futile. But the faith in his existance, the mere foundation of all religions, is what matters and decides the actions of people.

  • @knyppeldyna I personally don't agree with ur conlcusion. What proof do you have that God does not exist? I would argue that there is much more evidence then needed. I simply cannot believe, I'm not assuming that you believe this theory, that our planet was created from dust and a random explosion. I simply cannot grasp how from something inorganic something organic was somehow formed.

  • @AttyEK If you had read my comment carefully, you would have seen that I do not deny the existance of God. Nor do I deny the opposite. I made a simple, logical model that, inspite my somewhat limited ability, might point to the futile in discussing the matter of His existance. But I do agree with you in the sense that there is more that points to God's existance, than to His non-existance. But when we can't define God, how could we then ever prove his existance. Faith is based on neither.

  • @knyppeldyna I understand your point of view. But by definition God is something undefinable. If you read St. Anselm's ontological argument it explains why. In a nutshell he states that if we could understand or define God that would makes us greater than Him. But such a thing is impossible. One of God's many attribute is omniscient(all knowing). We are not, so how could we grasp His being with our limited knowledge.

  • There is no evidence that Albert Einstein ever said this...

  • @TheLogicalHuman Are you an expert on Einstein's life?

  • Since the professor had a bad argument, god then exists.

  • @MrDanielHen That is very naive.

  • @afsartori I was insulting the logic of this video, I don't honestly think that.

  • watch?v=o9ktS2U53Qg Logical Evidences for Islam

  • I do not neglect the theory of gods existence, but the fact that people cannot believe in themselves to live a better life not because something of greater magnitude is above, but for their own concern. Why must there be a force to drive us. And if god was real, why would he create man? and why would he create free will? furthermore why would he create something he cannot control?

  • @1eat2sleep3longboard I suggest you start reading old scriptures such as the Bhagavad Gita. Questions like yours were answered thousands of years ago.

  • On the morning of the third day, there was thunder, lightning and a thick cloud on the mountain. Then a shofar blast sounded so loudly that all the people in the camp trembled. Exodus 19:16

The sound of your thunder was in the whirlwind, the lightning flashes lit up the world, the earth trembled and shook. Psalm 77:18

  • He raises clouds from the ends of the earth, he makes the lightning flash in the rain and brings the wind out from his storehouses. Pslam 135:7 When he thunders, the waters in heaven roar, he raises clouds from the ends of the earth, he makes the lightning flash in the rain and brings the wind out from his storehouses. Jeremiah 10:13

  • His body was like beryl, his face looked like lightning and his eyes like fiery torches; his arms and feet were the color of burnished bronze; and when he spoke, it sounded like the roar of a crowd. Daniel 10:6

ADONAI will appear over them, and his arrow will flash like lightning. Adonai ELOHIM will blow the shofar and go out in the whirlwinds of the south. Zechariah 9:14

  • For when the Son of Man does come, it will be like lightning that flashes out of the east and fills the sky to the western horizon. Matthew 24:27

because the Son of Man in his day will be like lightning that flashes and lights up the sky from one horizon to the other.Luke 17:24

His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were as white as snow. Matthew 28:3

  • This is not a true story

  • @AlexEttelis it's not?

  • it is NOt a true story!

  • Websters says, save saved sav·ing 1a : to deliver from sin b : to rescue or deliver from danger or harm c : to preserve or guard from injury, destruction, or loss d : to store (data) in a computer or on a storage device 2a : to put aside as a store or reserve : accumulate b : to spend less 3a : to make unnecessary : avoid b (1) : to keep from being lost to an opponent (2) : to prevent an opponent from scoring or winning 4: maintain, preserve 1: to rescue or deliver someone

  • God is good, and His mercy endures forever.

  • @Tearstojoy Which "God"?

  • @replay0018, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The LORD, the God of the Hebrews. "I Am Who I Am. Say this to the people of Israel: I Am has sent me to you."

  • @Tearstojoy Why not Zeus? I mean.. lightning!

  • So this commercial advocates bringing God and religion back into schools. Which religion and which God? Hindu? Christian? Muslim? Druids? Believe what you want but that is a legitimate question. What was that? Christian? Okay. Should we go with Southern Baptist, Catholic or Mormon? Or maybe Non-denominational feel good stuff? And what about the poor Jewish kids? I mean these are legitimate questions. Don't you think?

  • well if god exist....then he had to put some sort of [evil] in something or someone to make it not want god in its heart....so [satan] just made up [created] evil??

  • Einstein may have a religious believer when he was a child, but for most of his life he was NOT a believer. When questioned about it he wrote "I believe in the god of Spinoza", The significance of this statement was that Spinoza, although of Jewish origin had rejected Jewish teaching was consequently excommunicated. He did not attempt to return to Judaism nor convert to any other religion. Both Einstein and Spinoza talked about a god in nature, and not a personal Diety.

  • I saw only part of this one time, but I didn't really know what the commercial was for, and I honestly thought that Einstein said that. Religion is disputed way too often to be taught in school, but then again, science can sometimes trump what people believe. So the whole situation is like a dog chasing its tail.

All in all, what that kid said makes a lot of sense to me either way; connecting science with religion. Anyone can connect with at least part of it, despite the intentions of the ad.

  • Bringing religion back to schools? They could AT LEAST try using a factual story...

You might believe what he says is true. But the method it's presented is a lie meant to manipulate you into believing it.

  • This is not a true story and it should not be portrayed as such. Lying for the sake of promoting of good is INFINITELY WORSE than telling the truth for sake of promoting evil.

  • Doesn't matter if he believed or not. What he said is still true and I'd like to see some of you prove it wrong. Even if we have God in our hearts we still are able to sin but that doesn't mean we are evil. Who has the right to define what evil is but God alone? We were made in His image and all we can do is except His grace into our hearts. once we do that He will begin to change us and just as the bible says, what do darkness and light have to do with each other?

  • This isn't a true story. It's an urbant legend

  • why is evry1 talking about hitler in here wen its about einstein? Why?!

  • Very good...

    ...before the last sentence.

  • @Tearstojoy Hitler used God and and Christianity to back him up in his genocide. He believed in Christianity just as much as you do.

  • @Tearstojoy If you listen to, or read translations of Hitler's speeches, he mentions God a lot. In fact, religion was part of the reason why so many Germans went along with what Hitler did.

  • "It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." -Albert Einstein

  • @Williamisaperson

You are absolutely right. At least someone is educated here.

  • I think the wrong argument has been staged here, it should have been: "evil does not exist, just like the cold & darkness. Man did not create evil, evil is what happens when man does not have the presence of goodness in his heart" whether the man has God's love in his heart or not is totally irrelevant. A person can claim he loves God and do the most evil things in God's name. The love of God should only be a mean to the end of performing goodness.

  • LOL, Einstein NEVER fucking said that...

  • Short answer: NOPE! lol

  • This is an urban legend. Whoever made the video knows this and is therefore lying. It started as an email in 2004 and is completely false. This argument is standard theodicy, regurgitated around a famous figure to make it seem more credible. When you have to lie to justify your beliefs, it's a big FAIL in my books.

  • @rickylowtwo Your actually the big fail, it was Einstein who said "Faith without Science is blind and Science without Faith is lame". Einstein was even asked if he accepted the "historical existence of Jesus," to which he replied, "Unquestionably! No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life." Atheist revisionists always try to lie about Einsteins faith. It's sad really, to go so low as to lie.

  • 112 evil people. look out.

  • "Great video"... as long as you make sure to do ZERO research....

1st - Proving that a theoretical entity would be good if it exists does NOT prove said entity actually exists

2nd - As said in previous comments, Einstein did NOT have such discussion with any teacher (which would be unlikely since he went to a Catholic School)

3rd - This video is basically propaganda to convince people to let religious fanatics teach fairy tails in since class... Thankfully only USA would even consider this...

  • @KeyboardSamurai God loves you so much....

  • @KeyboardSamurai God loves you so much....

  • People believes this since they don't know philosophy.

  • @nercetti God loves you so much....

  • A false story: snopes[dot]com/religion/einstein.asp

  • 109 dislike are just men that dont have god's love, = evil !

  • Very good video... I was reading the comments ...and i actually saw an ideological war ... What i have to say is SEPERATE RELIGION FROM FAITH ...God do exists ...and anyone who really want to feel him he can..Religion became by humans...and it has many problems... God is like a spring field... and humans like a Bee and a Fly ..Some of us can see flowers and some can see shits ...in world God is everywhere ...Choose what you want to be a Bee or a Fly...

  • - i agree wd this "EINSTEIN KID" .

  • Can someone please pass me the name of song which is playing on this video ?

  • "A true story."

Yeah, where'd you get it from? Cause I'm fairly certain it's completely fabricated. As in, totally made up bullshit done for propaganda reasons, to make a point that A.) doesn't actually tie into what the title suggests (what do Einstein's beliefs have to do with answering whether God exists?) and B.) Create a fantasy realm to deal with the inadequacies in your own argument.

Believe or don't, but for all that is Good, stop LYING to people.

  • Marxism, Stalin and Lenin(ism)... Atheism, a world without God is accountable to none, and proved that it has a blatant disregard for life. It goes so far as to preach, 'survival of the fittest'. Whereas, Christianity teaches to support those who are weaker, and care for those who are needy, communism sees them as fuel to fire up their machine of power.

  • Are you sure that you do not confuse logic and philosophy?

  • Sorry, my comment was a reply to Saber10inch, not to hupps700:-)

  • @hupps700 I strongly disagree with you. Good is not absence of evil. Good acts on it's own. The base for good is truth, awareness and love. Evil, on the other hand, can only act when the above is missing, neglected or rejected. Good creates happiness, trust and love. Evil creates misery, distrust and hate. All men want to be happy, that's why good can exist on it's own. Furthermore, God is beyond good and evil. God is, that is the only thing we can say about 'him'.

  • Or rather, evil comes from our unawareness of God's presence in us, in every man.

That is the biggest hope for mankind and, I think, God's plan for us. To be aware.

  • @knyppeldyna i have free will.

    evil never comes from god.

  • In the beginning, God and man were one, they were not separated, man could not choose between good or bad. At the moment of "the fall" and ever after, man was given the choice between good or bad, truth or lie, love or "hate". Albert Einstein is right. Darkness is only the absence of light, cold is only the absence of warmth. Sin (hatred, greed, envy etc.) is only absence of love. Since God is love, and this is the only truth man can say about God, "sin" is a result of the absence of God in us.

  • ahahha PWND

  • you know that he was bad in the school and studied at home

  • there is no such thing as good, there is only absence of evil! i challenge everyone to disprove me

  • If god exists, why doesn't he change the basics of reality into a world where free will can exist without evil? If he is omnipotent, he could do that. If he cannot, then someone must have created the "law" that makes free will unable to exist without evil etc etc.

  • @Littral To truly love someone, it must be your choice. To love someone entirely, you must also see that there is an ALTERNATIVE, but still choose love, over the alternative. That is the truest form of love. Of course, when you are given a choice, some will choose instead to hate. Thus given a world where love is only known, humans would be born made only to love, which defeats the purpose of Choosing to love.

  • there is no evil, only abstinence of good.

    WICH MEANS GOD IS REAL!

  • Well that was a big bunch of statements. I wonder if there´s a way to crosscheck.

  • this child is so wise

    i like him

  • @Souljaboy66sVideos hehe too many thumbs down xD

ps. i gave thumbs up xp

  • Does anyone know which music piece is playing in the background? Beautiful.

  • @WipesINC

    i wonder that too

    i feel is not Mozart

maybe something like Lizt i guess the name is right?

  • @mystteries

It's Gnossienne No.1 composed by Erik Satie!

  • @WipesINC thank you so very much

  • interesting, hate vs. love and the the battle of the ages, divine creation vs. a great void... I'm going with the One Who Is, let the atheists choose nothing, and that's just what their eternity will produce, nothing.

  • @whosnameismine, I'm with you! I'd rather have the fulness of God than the void that Atheists promote. They are always trying to hard sell nothing... what's the point? People without faith that try to destroy the faith in others? What's their point? They can go into a Godless eternity, that's their free choice, not mine.

  • @n0kiddingreally, me too!

  • TUMBS UP OM DU E FRÅN FLASHBACK!

  • @GamEfreakStunter fragbite ;P

  • @Tearstojoy and by the way, Atheists are mostly bigots, because they keep whipping the dead horse of the crusades as their main complaint. Pardon me if I'm mistaken, but there hasn't been one since medieval times. I was taught not to judge an entire race, creed, or color for the actions of a few. It's a fact that where true Christianity flourishes, deeds that are evil are diminished. Fact. When a light gets turned on, darkness vanishes, simple.

  • @Semphas87, give me a break. Modern slavery in Sudan is being done by the godless, and by whipping christians and their children into submission, so get over your bigotry, okay?

  • Comment removed

  • I want to marry this kid he is so correct

  • No, he is a kid. Children believe in God because they are incapable of rational thought. Christians are as stupid as children, only with less dignity. Cold does exist, as does darkness. If you believe in God, you are a worthless individual!

  • @moodini99

even the most atheïst scientists agree that there is no cold and darkness!

i agree that this upload does not prove God, but it does explain why God and evil can exist both!

  • Good and evil are not more real than cold and darkness. They're just words. There are a seemingly infinite amount of words that describe things that don't physically exist, it isn't proof of anything, it's just nonsense.

Good and evil are just words that people use to describe what they do and don't like. There is no good, no evil. They don't physically exist. I consider religion to be deeply evil, whereas some would consider it to be good. Good and evil aren't tangible things, just adjectives

  • haha i dont care if this isn't Einstein he just school'd his teacher lols

  • Geezus i love little kid/ Albert Einstein he is so smart evrybody should love god ,i do, enough said

  • Wow, so many ignorant comments on this, some people need to learn to do something very beautiful, RESPECT. Whatever your reason is for going against God, you don't need to call it 'garbage,' clearly showing that the way you were educated is 'garbage.'

  • @musicispeace95 thnk you that is so true

  • The beginning the kid said was alright, the ending was wrong.

    Does good exists? No.

Good is the absence of evil.

But it all doesn't really matters...

Good and Evil are man made inventions, there's no good, there's no evil.

bye the way, Einstein was an atheist.

  • The absolutely was an Atheist, you are right. 'Spinoza's God' is so often misinterpreted. This philosophical concept of 'God' that Spinoza used to express his ideas is really just another way of describing the determinism of the universe. Einstein specifically stated that he DID NOT believe in the Christian God, nor any other mythological creature or fictional character!

  • @moodini99

    Exactly!

  • wow I guess people dont really like God.

So much hostility and anger against this God person.

all of these comments make me want to ask one thing.

(and please answer with out hostility and more like a conversation between adults)

What are your reason for not liking this God person?

  • @tomhank9 augh... we'd have to go semantic-like here... Anyway, okay... so you're intellectual, you're atheist, you're wise, you're proud, you know it. You don't even know what "know" means. You just believe you know.

I wonder when you'd be right? I wonder when I'd be right... Whatever =')

Everyone's always certain. They always THINK they're sure. I'm sorry too.

I'm sorry too.

  • i have noticed that many people think that god would not allow things to happen to people who are good but do relize go never came to protect you from death he only came to protect you from evil and give you "life" he is there to help you not to make you invinceble.

  • "It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." - Albert Einstein in Albert Einstein: The Human Side

  • if evil does not exist, then what do you call the devils that is mentioned in the bible?

  • @sign300 evil does exsist

  • Well, the truth is what the professor says, matematicaly speaking, is absolutely wrong. he's making deductions and, according to matemathic laws, if A implying B is true, that doesn't prove that the reverse is true either ( B ---> A). Einstein speach coming afterwards is just pure garbage, means absolutely nothing, because you can't study good or evil. I don't even believe in god, but the genius fellow who made this vid must really believe in it.

  • Einstein did not know everything, and he was dead wrong about a lot of things, specially the atom as we know it and quantum physics. He never sought to prove god, it was his own delusion, that's about it.

  • Maybe Einstein lived a sheltered life but I cant think anyone would seriously deny the fact of evil. In fact , as I understand it, the root of evil is a personal and factual devil.I`m not proud of it but I had more to do with him than with God until God graciously revealed His Son to me.

  • Google(TM) - only a mouse click away.

  • This is interesting, but evil and good don't exist in any demonstrably objective way, unlike the nice clear facts of what light and darkness, cold and warmth are.

Good and evil are only ways of seeing things - whether you prefer them or not, whether they harm you or not. But what you prefer others don't and what harms you may heal another. Good and evil are opinions. QED

  • lame logic. The video uses a old argument trick. First establish a definition than show how that definition proves your point. Well the definition is not correct. "Like Darkness and Cold evil does not exist" meaning evil is the natural state of things. I don't believe that. Evil has substance, emotion, desires and actions. To say it does not exist when we see it everyday. Also is not a belief from those that believe in God that The Devil exist.

  • what the-?! people still believes this bullshit? einstein never said that. and how much more common sense do believers need to notice that a Philosophy class to a bunch of 8 or 9 yr olds is absurd?! this is so Fake.

  • This is the danger of never checking sources. Einstein never had the conversation in this video. It is a totally false situation. He would have made it clear if he believed in Jesus or god. This is disgraceful

  • This is a lie about Einstein. "“I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own - a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. Neither can I believe that the individual survives the death of his body, although feeble souls harbor such thoughts through fear or ridiculous egotisms.” -Albert Einstein

If you wish to support religion in school, then find another icon my friend, because you falsify history

  • einstein is agnostic.... he never claims to believe in god but does not said that there can be no god...

and besides this argument is invalid. darkness-light, heat-cold..one cant exist without the other, if evil exist in the absence of god? then god is always absent for allowing evil to exist, therefore god is evil at some way.

  • can you tell me who's music it is? plz plz plzzzz

  • God is in our hearts in our souls :)

  • if god exist.. who created god?

where is god? around us? nope just air particles

was adam and eve real? honestly get real life isnt a fairytale

religion is like kids beleiving in santa claus. except kids grow up

in my opinion i dont think people should beleive everythuing they hear

And heres a serious fact... if there wasnt religion, there wouldnt be specific world issues and war. even the biggest beleivers couldnt disagree with that unless there too brainwashed.

but if it makes u happy..

  • lol this is stupid, the professor is using a dumb argument.

  • Any proof that it is true story?

Also "Einstein" is assuming that the cases of heat-cold and light-darkness are analogous to good-evil, without proving it.

Again.... in case this story is true, hence the name of Einstein in quotes.

  • Einstein never said that, and heat doesn't exist in the same sense, it's simply the movement of particles.

Plus, there is no reason to connect the metaphysical concepts with the physical ones of dark and light and heat and cold.

  • I agree with this video, except that:

    EINSTEIN NEVER SAID THAT!!!

So marcarlosfrancisco, please stop giving theists like me a bad name but putting words into peoples mouths who never said them.

  • klotz3344@yahoo.com

  • OWND!

  • fuck you tube

  • whoa . damn smart ;)

  • nice one!!!

  • I think it would be easier to address the existence of God, by defining God. The dictionary define god as Supreme Being. A supreme being can be conceived. Science is searching for this type of existence with its use of many experiments, but tests can only produce results for what interact with the tests. Just because we can or can’t experience something with our senses doesn’t mean it doesn’t. Finding a being of such immensity is a monolithic task.

  • Now that's genius. :)

  • @PeterVesuwalla

it is a well known true story

i went to catholic school and believe me many techaers are atheists . well atheists will never be convinced that God is real , sad.

  • genius :)

  • :) genious...

  • It simply comes down to the fact, yes fact, that god loves us all, even those who are here slamming him and the christian faith because he loves us unconditionally. Atheism is for people who have never experienced god in there lives.

  • @LUCKIEI how can you say that what hitler did was because of the bible? That is truly absurd when his whole regime centred on him being the Fuhrer, there was no place for religion as it implied there was a being who was higher the Hitler. Hitler also went out and killed Jews not non believers.

The bible tells us Christians to make disciples of all nations, u are taking parts of the bible and throwing them totally out of context.

  • so cool

  • Well that'll shut the atheists up then. I went for so long without believing. Forgive me God!

  • "BRING RELIGIOUS TEACHING BACK TO SCHOOL"

Albert Einstein was born jewish... GL Christians.

  • Anyone else see that it said Albert Einstien (1879-1955) and forgot to mention he was ATHEIST?

God created some humans with the absence of love? thus leaves them evil?

  • "The word god is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weakness, the Bible a collection of honorable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish.

"No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this."

    Einstein January 3 1954

  • @Heteblixem yahweh and religion is needed though, considering we can't explain everything it really keeps people going. humans like to have reasons for everything especially our existence. i personally am atheist and proud of it, but i do realize without religion the world would be anarchy and chaos.

  • @LUCKIEI - Two books are primarily responsible for most of the mass murder & torture in the past 1500 years. These are the Bible & Koran.

Religion is a frequent source of conflict and cruelty. Monstrous crimes have been committed in its name. And more often than not it has stood in the way of efforts at human liberation and progress. If we lay to rest the God of Abraham, 70% of the violence in this world would vanish.

    Religion is evil

  • @Heteblixem, people are evil, and judgement comes to those who break the law. people would still be evil, even if there was no organized form of religion in the world, get a grip on reality. Okay?

  • @Heteblixem, you are so totally full of crap. You're saying that 70% of all the violence (and wars) in the world comes by those who believe in the God of Abraham? Really? Maybe you should look and see how many died under the rule of Marx, Stalin and Mao, all atheists... need I say more?

  • @Heteblixem, you're kidding me right? So, you're saying that they were Christians and they believed in the God of Abraham, because according to the 'pulled out of your ass' statistics, 70% of the worlds violence and atrocities are commited by God fearing people.
