If they replaced the japanese background music of the end battle blade vs. saber with some hardcore rock music it would have made it more badass. english dub with japanese music just doesn't work for me.... maybe the intro theme music would've been more suitable.

I have watched the original Japanese version. I find that most of the background music has been changed except the final fight between Saber (Tekkaman Evil) and Blade, the music is called "Masquerade". And I discover that even their roarings "Aha..." when they are changing into Super Taknoman mode are conserved. It sounds quite similar to the American version.

I really have hard time believing that this Teknoman Saber is none other than the fattest Mighty Morphin Power Ranger actor who is best known as "BULK".

This is not the real final battle... This is only half way through the series. The real show was Tekkaman Blade. It had 50 episodes and was a lot more in depth than the America series "Teknoman." UPN screwed up the series terribly.

As much as I normally enjoy the inclusion of the original Japanese music (or at the very least, an "Americanized" English variant) in English-dubbed anime, the use of "Masquerade" here is an exception. I quite like the song on its own merits, but I'm rather ticked that it's so loud as to drown out the dialogue of the characters.

There are many versions of this series: the US version, UK version, Liquid Anime version, original Japanese version etc. The Japanese version will give it to ya in full, all be it in Japanese. You want it in english, whether it's dubbed or subbed, you'll get the edited version. The Liquid Anime version does a nice edit between the two.

I love how the dub voices fail to cover up the original seiyuu yells during Blasterization, and that, unlike the rest of the Blade soundtrack, the Teknoman guys decided to leave MASQUERADE alone. Hahahahahah, one of the best anime ever gets such a hillaribad dub.

First off its assumed they were seeing something like a live News clip.

Secondly genius, if you had seen the rest of the series you would have seen that blade and sabre have already had dozens of battles with all sorts of mix-up endings.

This wasn't so much a battle as it was a scene of finality and conclusion.

Actually the day is rarely saved by anyone in gundam, at least it didn't used to be. Before the days were less saved and more simply ended because most everyone had been killed.

Of course that's more of an opinion than a fact, but gundam tends to lean towards pessimism. In fact the only ones I've seen that had definitive save-the-day moments were the SEEDs and Wing. And everyone knows Gundam Wing is for girls and SEED is for gays.

In Gundam Wing they have a similar giant projector scene where Zechs and Hiro are fighting which was completely stolen from this. In fact its way more drawn out and cheezy stupid in comparison.

Gundam is just mechs running around with light sabres and shields that look like transformers. I mean WTF is the logic behind a shield when it's made out of the same metal as the mech?

Basically it's the kiddie version of robotech where the mech design actually looks somewhat plausible.

That was more of a throw back from the original, where the explaination is cost. You put thicker materials on the shield so you don't have to armor the mech as much.

It's somewhat stupid in Wing for the reason that every gundam is a one of, so production costs don't factor in beyond the one suit.

Have you ever seen 08th MS Team? Most realistic gundam series. There's only one ace pilot in the whole show and he's one of the bad guys.

When I first seen all of them on here it was great. The scenes from 15-27 was never shown in US version of the show. And I never really saw the last epi's until this year. Its cool.
