It's always a bit of a difficult adjustment when a band you've loved for over 25 years hires a new frontman to sing the songs you know by heart. Arnel Pineda's voice is beautiful, his range is impressive (as it would have to be to replace Steve Perry), and he sings with honesty and passion. Hi there,

I can say in general we are all very happy with Arnel's performance, he did an excellent job at Vina del Mar. Apart from the fact that his voice is so similar to Steve's he also has a great charisma.

Very few people made comments that he is nothing more than a good imitator, the rest of the comments are just to praise and congratulate his great performance and how happy we all are to have Journey back.  Is a second chance that not many bands get.

Realmente me parece algo inmaduro seguir tocando el mismo tema, yo soy de las personas que tratan de buscarle el lado positivo a todo y por un lado quizas este mal que hayan buscado otro vocalista porque QUIZAS podria haber perdido la escencia del grupo, pero eso no ocurrio, con Pineda yo creo que aumento la escencia pues con su gran voz ahora todos quieren escuchar al nuevo Journey, que comparando las voces del actual vocalista con el anterior, objetivamente tiene mejor voz Pineda.
