I played Mercenaries 2 on PC soo often fin. Now I got it on PS3. And I just want to destroy everything like good old times. Pm me when you know it.

@Theisrb2000 it's a bug that happens to all copies now since EA must've changed something with their servers, the fix is simple though, either play it offline, or play another game which has to connect to the EA servers. Most people on xbox just download the Army of Two demo to do this and its worked for me.

There will be no message but if you get way to far apart then both your screens will start to get fuzzy which tells you that you are to far apart. You dont HAVE to go back to your partner if you dont want to though.

This game is actually a lot of fun, but whoever was in charge of QA did an AWFUL job. Mercs2 had a TON of glitches, especially with the co-op feature. There were times when the game would refuse to allow me to join my friends game or vice versa and the only way to fix it was for one of us to reset our PS3 and start the game up again. The story wasn't the greatest but co-op open world destruction was awesome. Too bad getting the damn game to work properly could be such a headache at times.

YES the servers are down, however if you play on PC you can use server emulators which allow you to continue playing "online". google it, download it, and keep cooperatively blowing stuff up! :D

@infinitideagames when you go to main menu page it usually says connecting to Ea sever...then crashes, to get around this download army of two the first game demo off the market place, then set up an EA acount if it promps you, if it don't dont worry, just go back to mercs and it shud work perfectly, then delete army of two demo, :)!

@danteindarkness ok dude, since the update for me, everytime i start up it DOES freese after about 5 or 6 secconds, all you realy need to do is just press continue as soon as you can and the game runs fine. once in the game you can go back to the menu and it will work fine, its just the first time that freezes, i will message you when i work out of how FIX the problem

well depending if u have ps3 or 360. Ps3: go to the Playstation network and hit sign up. Just follow the instuctions. Sometimes you have to hit "system update"
