Dry Bones and Bowser Jr. are not playable characters. Dry Bones is going to be a boss. My guess for that 12th and final playable character is either Rosalina or.....Goomba? It did say that the final character would be new to the playable status, so that's my guess.

I want Donkey Kong to be playable again but in order for this to happen we need a new Anti Bowser. Toad was the original Anti-Bowser until Mario Party 5 when he became playable and for some reason, DK was given the role of Anti-Bowser. I think Rosalina should take DK's place as the Anti-Bowser. Landing on a Rosalina Space means good things happen unlike Boswer Spaces. Pauline however is on my wishlist of playable characters

I will buy up to eight (have all of them except 5,6, and 8) and I will not buy it again until they bring back all of the characters. I'm fine with them leaving dk as a space, but if they cut that many characters I will not buy it. besides, the car board game looks retarded, I would much rather them keep the boards the way they are, as well as bringing back the orb system

It's debatable whether Bowser Jr. will actually be playable, and it's pretty likely that Dry Bones won't be. The former was probably for boss battles (and may or may not be playable, I doubt he will be because it would be weird to fight Bowser Jr. with Bowser Jr.), and the latter could be seen more than once on the same screen, and with more than two other characters... I think they're part of a minigame.

Actually I heard Bowser Jr. was gonna be like Koopa Kid and only be an antagonistic character. And, while he is my favorite, I don't think Dry Bones is invited this time.
