i dont believe anyone has the right to pass judgment. These people seem to have a well loving family for this dog. You all should see the conditions the dogs i rescue live in. it would make anyone cry. so please save your negative comments towards videos that show actual mistreatment.

i am a PETA supporter, a 5 year long vegan & a i am a proud owner of 3 min pins. i can fully understand the need for a sweater & boots! I live in the Northern part of Illinois where the winters can get very cold. When i first adopted them, we did not realize the importance of boots. It was painful to watch them walk in the snow. Before they could even go potty, their paws would hurt from the cold. Once they had boots, sure it was difficult for them to where at 1st, but they were able to potty.
People need to learn tht min pins get really cold fast, its 80 in my house and my min pin shivers and we have to put his sweatshirt on him, May i menton he is FAT!
im sorry but this is 100% not a way to treat this dog!!!

this isnt cruel. this is taking care of a pet like its a member of a family. you dont go out in the snow with bare feet do you? i didnt think so. dogs arent weatherproof you know.

God did not give humans boots either...just the same my dog was not born in the wild...all hes known is the warmth of my apartment! obviously he is in pain if he screams when he is in the snow and cold...yet when he goes out with his boots on in the snow he does not cry...if he was in pain he would be crying or barking just like any dog does when they are in pain. ive seen my dog in pain as im sure the owner of this dog has seen his dog in pain....this dog is not in pain.

do you know what the weather was like outside when this video was taken? i doubt it. in cleveland when there is snow out my min pin cries and screams when he goes in the snow to go to the bathroom because of his tiny paws, and his short legs means usually the snow will touch his belly. he has a coat for going outside as well as these silly little waterproof mittens. he walks like an idiot inside and tries nibbling them off, but once outside he seems to appreciate them.
Why don't you try concrete boots and see if your up for a walk....Clearly you missed the chapter on interpreting your dogs body language. It's a living animal, NOT an accessory!!!
And if you knew anything about min pins you would know that their small bodies and thin coats make it necessary for their owners to make them wear sweaters and such if its cool outside. I have 2 min pins and live in Canada so Im fully aware of the need to keep these dogs warm. My dogs are always dressed up for the weather. However, watch this video. Does this look like a dog who is comfortable in its boots. Shoes are not necessary for a small dog who is going out for a short walk or a pee in the backyard. This breed is not designed for anything more than that in extreme cold weather. There just for human entertainment and nothing else The body languge says it all!
