  • Does the Northern Lights count as purely female because I have seen dudes do it or are you just looking at the coolest moves done by females rather than the coolest "female" moves?

  • Lot of those moves are so dangerous and that is what makes them so great. You would think those wrestlers would be getting paralyzed or get killed. The moonsault double foot stomp is the best and is something that I would never ever think would be possible. Only in videogames! Crazy. I feel bad for the opponent who has to take that.

  • i wouldnt take a moonsault double foot stomp that would probably kill me lol

  • You have to have a LOT of trust in your opponent to take the bump for the Moonsault Double Foot Stomp. A botch could mean a broken face! Hell, even landing it correctly...all that weight concentrated into the small surface area of the feet. I'm curious what injuries it's caused, if any.

  • these are all japanese girls only and the moves are too similar. and most importantly there have been better. thumbs down.

  • I find it interesting that even though these clips are of Japanese wrestlers, when the crowd is chanting along with the referee's counts, they're counting in English :)

  • Awesome to see some real women wrestlers at last. Why doesn't WWE & TNA take notice, throw out all their "divas" and replace them with women who can wrestle like this? Surely there's money to be made from this - since all they seem to care about is money?

  • Great vid, but I thought some moves could have been replaced by

    Splash Mountain (Dynamite Kansai)

    Death Valley Bomb (Etsuko Mita)

  • You have to be a complete hard ass to take the moonsault double foot stomp.

  • @FistacuffsMcfearless Especially if you're female.

  • withchcraft is sweet!

  • wow. the last five were all variations of "sick ways to pulverize vertebrae"

  • Weird how there all Asian.

  • northern lights bombs is the same as emarld fusion lol

  • The NLB and the Emerald Flowsion are different moves, actually.

  • @a2k13 They are a little different. The same lift but a different drop.

  • isn't witchcraft the inverted nlb?

  • Isn't Air Raid Crush the same as Mike Modest's finisher (Modest Maker?)

  • Fairly similar, yes. Modest's version of the move has the victim's legs each on one of Modest's shoulders, while the ARC has the victim across the attacker's back.

  • @TheSuicidalDragon Kinda reminds me of the Schwein.

  • what came first the CB4 driver or the Jig n' Tonic?

  • I believe the Jig 'N Tonic

  • Yay another a drifferent clip of the kudome valentine!! Can I ask why they're always in barbed wire matches?

  • The Kudome Valentine was more or less Kudo's be all, end all finishing move. She debuted it only one year before her retirement, and didn't use it very often. I believe four uses came within a Barbed Wire Deathmatch of some variety, while two other uses occurred in traditional matches.

  • Kudome Valentine the best ever ..

  • Thanks a lot SD. I've watched your videos all the time. I Hope this will help me in my SvR 2009 video game but anyways, the Kudome Valentine for me is the best and will always be the greatest and the most devastating finisher ever because it has the uniqueness of the move. First, the user will twist the opponent, lift em' up and finally dropping it driving the opponents head first into the mat plus there's a possibility that the opponent receiving it will have a neck injury, that's why its great

  • I was always partial to Victoria's move The Widow's Peak. Is there another name for that move?

  • It's got a few names, mostly gimmick names from other wrestlers. Kotaro Suzuki calls it Blue Destiny, Ace Steel calls it the Twist of Cain.

  • @TheSuicidalDragon isn't it also called the spinal shock by some other guy if I'm not mistaken?

  • Ah, yes. Quiet Storm called it that.

  • Dude.

    Top ten lowblow variations.

  • What about the Excalibur!?

  • Just didn't make it.

  • Sad but true the Japanese women know how to perorm better in the ring then todays "American" wrestlers

  • damn, those japanese girls be killin it with those moves

  • 1:05 Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

    right in the breasts

  • Are there gonna be any top ten back breaker videos

  • Eventually.

  • My two favorite finisher are by my two favorite wrestlers..Kudomevalentine, and the Norther Lights Bombm, by Kudo and Hokuto.

  • any clips of that ?

  • I have one posted.

  • @TheSuicidalDragon

    thanks 4 the quick reply

  • every time i see a J.O.S i think of the awesome tagteam moves that could come from it like a jos into a neckbreaker or a modified doomsday device

  • Toyota and Shimoda used an Assisted JOCS as a tag team finisher.

  • that japanese ocean suplex is freakin sweet. what league is this

  • All Japan Women's, Japanese Women's Pro, ARSION, GAEA, and FMW are all represented in this video.

  • Vince needs to stop thinking that women are only for looks and actually get some decent wrestling going on, because I know that at least a few of his Divas have SOME wrestling ability.

  • yeah but these women are too stiff for the wwe

  • fathers love for all people, jesus loves

  • they are SO MUCH better than G.L.O.W.!!! if ya know what i mean...

  • Wow! Aja Kong is Awesome Kong and Ayako Hamada is on TNA too

  • Sorry I meant to say that Aja Kong was Awesome Kong's partner in Japan

  • nah Aja Kong isnt awesome kong.... that is same hamada though...

  • this is way better than divas in WWE on the fact they hardly have talent in WWE

  • Awesome!

  • Hi Mr. Dragon, I'm a long time fan of your work, and I often watch videos on your profile for new ideas for in the ring. I was just wondering how Victoria/Tara's Widow's Peak didn't make it on this list, I mean seriously, a Gory Bomb Neckbreaker, I feel it'd be number one, not to mention atleast on the list, im obviously still going to keep watching though, please keep up the great work.

  • There's no usable footage of the Widow's Peak.

  • Yes, she did.

  • She started hittin' that move WAY before homicide even started wrestling.

  • thats all Kudo..Kudomevalentine..

  • why so negative people? it wasn't an indictment or even a position, it was just a fucking question! hell, homicide wasn't even the first i saw do it! shane/gregory helms was the first person i saw use it. you guys giving me thumbs down for trying to expand my wrestling knowledge is (HYPERBOLE ALERT!) tantamount to edisons and einsteins teachers calling them stupid for asking questions in class!!! why don't you all (SARCASM ALERT!) go fall off the earth or fly to the moon and take a deep breath

  • preach on I stopped trying to educate people and all I got was thier rudeness

  • Honestly, I don't take too much stock into comment ratings. If anyone ever has a question, I encourage them to ask, as I'm always more than happy to help.

  • amen

  • dude 56 sec that had to hurt

  • I hate it when I think I have invented some wrestling finisher, and then I see someone else use it, like the Witchcraft. It happened with the DR Driver II, as well.

My friend and I interviewed Michael Modest for our radio show, and he said that if American wrestlers want cool finishers, watch Joshi.

  • Great list, but why no Scorpio Rising?

  • Just didn't make it.

  • love the victoria driver its awesome

  • Yeah but from the angle it seemed like a Burning Hammer

  • That's what it is. Kyoko invented the move.

  • Really I did not know that. TY for the info, and great videos!

  • ahh. megumi kudo...how i love her

  • I watch WWE every week. TNA not so much.

  • Because they delete videos from Youtube.

  • Following copyright is exactly what I do by not using their footage. It's their's, they can enforce what they want to with it, thus I'm not going to use it.

  • I love these moves. Damn was that Kudome Valentine STIFF, plus she landed it into a pin, pure awesome right there. May I have your opinion, who does the N.L.B better, Kensuke Sasaki or its innovator, Akira Horuto?

  • Hokuto. Kensuke's isn't bad(he was taught the move by Hokuto), but Hokuto's was utter destruction.

  • Well, you do make a great point right there. Sasaki does have a great NLB but Hokuto's is the original & no one can do it quite like she does.

  • If I ever was a wrestler I would want the Northern Lights Bomb as a finisher... It looks devastating.

  • I'm glad to see hamada in TNA...i dont watch japanese stuff, but she's just awesome from what ive seen

  • Great stuff. I managed to guess the last two before they came up - those are two of the most wicked finishers ever!

  • is ayako hamada in tna now?

  • Yep.

  • yes, she's known there as Hamada (and they renamed the AP Cross as Hamada Driver)

  • I think a big man, any big man in any fed should use the ocean suplex as his finisher. That would be killer!

  • KAZ from TNA sometimes did it. Called it "Back to the Future".

  • Moonsault Double Foot Stomp was soooo sick O_O And as a huge Hokuto's mark I must say - Northern Lights Bomb, stiff as ever :D

  • NLB, IMHO the best finsher ever..

  • And remember...your favorite male wrestler owes a royalty to each of these women in this video. Mainly the Japanese women...but also the American ones too.

  • great point..I think anyone wrestling today owes a nod of respect to the JOSHI stars of the early to mid nineties...that was the best wrestling EVER produced.

  • which of these women have retired?

  • Only Hokuto, Fukuoka(I think), and Kudo.

  • akira hokuto, hikari fukuoka and megumi kudo

  • jesus...the japanese female wrestlers are so stiff...but the moves are awesome and brutal n_n

  • i dunno why but i see the CB4/Jig'n'Tonic as a overrated move, is it just me?

theyre all brilliant moves though aja kong is one stiff mother f...

  • Is the AP Cross supposed to be a wrist-clutch fisherman's driver or just a regular version?

  • No Wrist Clutch is involved with the move.

  • I love the new clip of the Kudome Valentine because you can see its full beauty and brutality

  • I love watching Japanese women wrestle cuz it's no different from the men way better then the..."divas"

  • And some Knockouts.

  • Awesome video.

I love that Northern Lights Bomb.

  • Awesome, you found a new clip of the Victoria Driver!

I wonder why Hamada isn't using the AP Cross in TNA: is it too dangerous for the Knockouts, or is she protecting it? I'd probably kick the TV if I saw Christy Hemme kick out of the AP Cross.

  • actually she is using it but don west and taz called it the Hamada Driver

  • The Hamada Driver looks more like a Michinoku Driver II than a Fisherman Driver. They're similar enough, though.

  • Moonsault double stomp makes me mark out everytime. Wasn't the last move a burning hammer?

  • I believe it's the move the Burning Hammer was modeled after.

  • So you're saying SHE invented the burning hammer before he did ?

  • Yes.

  • Awesome I had no idea I assumed he had invented it

  • I think you could probably say that the Burning Hammer is a '垂直落下式' (vertical drop type) Victoria Driver. There is quite a big difference in the final motion of the move, so I wouldn't call them the same move myself. I normally just refer to all those moves (Victoria Driver, Burning Hammer, Argentine Coaster, Blood Fall etc) as just the natural variations you get from a Argentine clutch setup. Each wrestler invented their own variation on the slam/bomb etc at the end.

  • the NLB should of been # 1

  • The moves aren't in any particular order.
