Twenty years ago life didn't look that much different on the street in many respects, but since so many basic aspects of life have been transfered into an online interface, if the internet really crashed, we would lose far more than just what was gained in the last 20 years. While the internet may be fairly resilient, I think that we have as a society almost entirely forgotten that the internet is still basically a brand new phenomenon; and that is what is truly frightening.
we'd all be healthier for it but i still wouldn't wish it on anyone. it's a damn shame that we put so much responsibility and rely everything on the internet like water. ALWAYS have backup.
...I would normally, not be surprised by this...But this is coming from FOX NEWS just mind you that people. -_-
