It seems like Jones move to CB wasn't just because we lack depth at the position, but also because Kelvin Gradys emergence at the slot allowed Jones to move to CB in the first place. I'm sure you heard of the sweet one handed catch he made in practice.
Seems Teric isn't the only indication at Michigan's skill at the slot. Rumor has it T-rob is thinking of transfering? Not too sure how credible this is, but can't see someone just making this up. Even if Michigan lost T-rob they'd still have Odoms, Roundtree, Gallon, and Grady. I think that Teric will move to RB or slot if Witty gets cleared and is better than Teric.
Thats odd. I haven't heard anything of T-Rob transfering, and I read mgoblog and the Michigan news on rivals everyday (although admittedly I'm not a premium member). If he transfers, Jones will pretty much have to play the slot even if Witty doesn't qualify. You can move one of the many outside receivers to CB, but you can't just move anybody to the slot. Hell, maybe Fitz could play slot receiver?

Turner is not the enxt Woodson until he actually shows on the field that he's the enxt Woodson. woodson wasn't just an unbeatable cornerback, but he was also a good slot/inside receiver and a clutch returner. He made big plays in the biggest games. He's the only defensive player to ever win the Heismen.
A more reasonable comparison would be Ty Law or Marlin Jackson. Turner has all the tools needed to be a Jim Thorpe winner. Its a crying shame that he wasn't a 5 star.
Yeah, there might not be another Woodson in college FB for fifteen years, but this kid's gonna be good. He's big, tackles well, and Rivals rated him as the #1 corner in the country in terms of ball skills and coverage. In my opinion, this is the best class Michigan has brought in for some time as far as filling needs. Him, Donovan Warren, and Cissoko will be a very solid secondary in another year. With Big Will and Craig Roh up front, we'll be a couple lindebackers away from a very solid D.

he's not officially qualified, but he's got a locker, so that is is an indication that he'll be eligible and will play this season. as for where he's playing, he's expected to be a cornerback and to challenge JT Floyd for the nickelback position

It seems like Jones move to CB wasn't just because we lack depth at the position, but also because Kelvin Gradys emergence at the slot allowed Jones to move to CB in the first place. I'm sure you heard of the sweet one handed catch he made in practice.

Seems Teric isn't the only indication at Michigan's skill at the slot. Rumor has it T-rob is thinking of transfering? Not too sure how credible this is, but can't see someone just making this up. Even if Michigan lost T-rob they'd still have Odoms, Roundtree, Gallon, and Grady. I think that Teric will move to RB or slot if Witty gets cleared and is better than Teric.

Thats odd. I haven't heard anything of T-Rob transfering, and I read mgoblog and the Michigan news on rivals everyday (although admittedly I'm not a premium member). If he transfers, Jones will pretty much have to play the slot even if Witty doesn't qualify. You can move one of the many outside receivers to CB, but you can't just move anybody to the slot. Hell, maybe Fitz could play slot receiver?

Turner is not the enxt Woodson until he actually shows on the field that he's the enxt Woodson. woodson wasn't just an unbeatable cornerback, but he was also a good slot/inside receiver and a clutch returner. He made big plays in the biggest games. He's the only defensive player to ever win the Heismen.
A more reasonable comparison would be Ty Law or Marlin Jackson. Turner has all the tools needed to be a Jim Thorpe winner. Its a crying shame that he wasn't a 5 star.

Yeah, there might not be another Woodson in college FB for fifteen years, but this kid's gonna be good. He's big, tackles well, and Rivals rated him as the #1 corner in the country in terms of ball skills and coverage. In my opinion, this is the best class Michigan has brought in for some time as far as filling needs. Him, Donovan Warren, and Cissoko will be a very solid secondary in another year. With Big Will and Craig Roh up front, we'll be a couple lindebackers away from a very solid D.

All he needed to become a great MLB was experience. I think thats all Ezeh needs as well. Then of course there's the super shifty Jonas Moutan reurning on the weakside, and I think Stevie Brown playing strongside linebacker will finally allow him to become a playmaker.
