Aww. *wants to run a give Daniel a cuddle* I love the way Michael portrayed Daniel in Continuum. I couldnt even begin to imagine what Daniel had gone through over that year they were in that timeline. But then, I am biased. Michael is my Favourite anyway. So, in effect is Daniel.
@emonub YOU TOO!?!? I'm a huge fan too!! I loved him as Victor in Burn Notice! especialy in the last episode of season 2. Him and Jeffery Donovan together was epic! they both cried in that ep.! it was adoreable!
@plutoniumtangent i loved his evilness on that show... he was insane. and it was EPIC!! loved victor and if you watch closely on the ep where he dies.. michaal was going to shoot himself...he thought about it
@SaphiraPorter I know! He really was insane XD That proved to me what a great actor MS is, going from Daniel who is the nicest guy on the planet, to Victor, who is a total nutter.
Yep... Love Michael Shanks : P Its all his fault that im considering going to the Stargate convention in Vancouver next year XD
well here's a question. why didn't Daniel and Sam go out of phase when they were in this alternate timeline. In the episode "point of view" when the alternate Carter entered into ours, she started going out of phase, and had to go back. So why didn't it happen this time?
Funny clip tho, Daniel talking to himself. LOL I tend to do that alot too. LOL
They didn't go out of phase, they were dying. It was entropic cascade failure. They magically removed that whole problem from the show seasons ago. i don't remember them ever explaining it away but they ended up with lots of different alternate reality versions of people who were both alive and dead.
Alternate realities were simply different outcomes from events, changing the past simply creates more of those alternate realities and the fact that there were still 2 of the same person in the same reality should have caused entropic cascade failure (based on the shows original logic) but they stopped using that a looonnngg time ago in the series and I don't remember them ever explaining it away.
remember the episode in season 9, (number 13: ripple effect), when there was like 12 SG-1's walking around in the same reality? carter said that because the realities were so close to each other that entropic cascade failure would not happen!and that reality was pretty close to normal, maybe thats why?! and there was about a dozen Carters and non of them disagreed, that many Carters can't be wrong at the same time!! :)

So yah don't know what caused it.

NOOOO its cos they were in a different timeline - not in a different reality.

Because they were traveling in a wormhole while the timeline changed.
