@letstalkaboutstuff I supplied my own opinion. And yes, I know about Bush’s history. He supplied Iraq with weapons so they could combat Iran, from 1980 to 1988. Iraq was supplied with weapons so they could contain and hopefully overthrow the communist backed regime of Ruhollah Khomeini. The goal was to end communism in the Middle East before it had a chance to spread to other regions, and it was successful.
