  • para escuchar al amanecer..

  • the sun just came out as i was listening to this

  • Three years... still awesome. :-)

  • Jonny+Thom+Ed+Colin+Phil+Clive= The best band of all times

  • @ZulrockTv hahaha que pinche creativo eh??

  • @Jordito17 Hahahaha a huevo, ni creas que le copie al wey que tiene 36 manitas para arriva XD

  • My my. Radiohead's catalogue of tunes they can pull from at any given show these days is just mind-bending. Looking at the other songs played at Saitama over here in the related videos box -> I can't decide which to listen to next.

  • maravilhoso, aqui no brasil alguns idiotas curtem restart uma porcaria descartavel

  • dammit, I have things to be doing and I just can't stop watching footage of this show.

  • @jumeau1 Meeee toooo.....it's intoxicating

  • I was walking down the street listening to this with a high volume, then the part where the song EXPLODES made me shake my head and body like i was in the fucking concert. When the song ended.. i noticed that an old lady was coming to "help" me.... I ran away in bliss and shame.

  • i think some people dislike videos just because they want to see others complain about something they themselves disliked...

    whoa

  • Weeeeee aaaaaaaare an aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaccident, waiiiiitingggggg, waiiiiitingggggg, to haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappennn

  • Almost every country has some great bands - if you don't know them you just have to dig deeper, that's all.

  • this band and concert are absolutely badass.

  • Hey - the US produced some good musicians - such as, umm.

yea - there's that one, and, umm...fuck...what's the name of that girl that was a "virgin" all the time?!

jk - don't forget, REM are americans...

  • Why does England get all the good bands?

  • that Canadian guy tells the truth

  • mboiiisss brurrr

  • What's the guitar Thom uses?

  • @astroboomboy some type of hollowbody. im not sure

  • @astroboomboy

Gibson ES-125T, It's very uniqe and vintage :)

  • Busca "El sombrio Secreto de la Felicidad" en google

  • the worst mix ever done

  • @ColdplayInLuigis you mean best.

  • @ColdplayInLuigis I think it must be the youtube compression or something..

  • Radiohead, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Coldplay and Queen/Led Zepplin are probably the 5/6 best from the UK (U2 are Irish so not getting into that :P)

  • @budwhite1 Thank you my friend for saying the truth

  • @budwhite1 Like all bands, but NO Coldplay :D

  • @budwhite1 there was a time i'd agree with every band you listed, but coldplay ruined their sound for me when they put out viva la vida. they had so much potential. worked up so far to x&y, a pinnacle album that made me jizz in my pants the first time i heard it. now they ruined everything for me.

    anyway radiohead owns all.

  • @musikyle

I actually quite like Viva, but Radiohead are at the top. It's interesting that the bands i've mentioned are the top 5 from England, the next 5 in the top 10 are also strong acts... Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Oasis (love/hate), Massive Attack and the Muse :D

  • 3 dislikes... I didn't know Justin Bieber got 3 youtube accounts

  • ill see those three dislikes in hell

  • @andrewtorrez smug twat

  • @bettudont you can join them bettudont2.. cunt

  • @andrewtorrez smug twat

  • Respond to this video... smug twat

  • I really like the audience on these videos :)

  • johnny > thom

  • @MG53895

    Jonny = Thom = Ed = Colin = Phil

Jonny + Thom + Ed + Colin + Phil = The best band of our era.

  • @etejuanete3 I wanna correct you dude: The best band of every era.

  • @TheMostModestvPerson quite possible man, quite possible...

  • @MG53895 I agree with your comment

  • Luv when he takes that hollowbody up to that Vox for a little feedback action,

    ahhh the Vox AC30 (sigh)...

  • dddang the SIZE of that crowd is AMAZING!

  • the people in the middle of the crowd at 0:26 are so lucky

  • 3:35

    Wee's so green and lonely.

    *sigh*nice one Thom.

  • @Miguelohara563 He forgot lyrics (we are accidents...).

Look at there there at Praha.

  • @GlaceDuFraise I know, I was joking.

  • i wonder if they know how good their music is?

  • The live version of this song made me love it. a lot.

  • Great video. Guys i made a cover of There There, from a Radiohead fan to another, please check it out ?v=AceI5cjJTPY

  • 2:51 - good ol' colin... stoned as usual (:

  • @NIMRODakaNIMROD Nope.

  • My favourite band forever!!! I love them so much!!!

  • i love thom yorke cus he bothers to learn the language when he goes somewhere i respect him allot.

  • @Chaziltasm He's a great man as well as a in-comparable musician then.

  • @Chaziltasm lol he just said domo arigato.. chill out he didnt learn the language

  • hey there is a higher pitch voice when Thom sings "disaster" (in the album) but you hear it here too, is that Phil? Ed is doing the lower one.

  • @Computerdisplay yeah thats Phil

  • In this song Ed kinda sounds like Chris Martin from Coldplay, isn't he? Great song by the way. Love it!

  • @OllerMaller Yeah! I know people are gonna hate on me for saying this, but Chris Martin really does have a great voice, even if he doesn't use it for quality music.

  • @dandelionhero I think Coldplay plays quality music. Radiohead is better of course but Coldplay is also a great band.

  • HOW. ARE. THEY. SO. GOOD???

  • Purple

  • try hearing this song in the middle of night and lights off, real scary

  • WE SO GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENN

    AND LONEELYY

  • anyone know what kind of guitar Thom's using?

  • Thoms pants... Hell yeah! :D

  • Thom's guitar is nice! It's pretty genius having a nice percussion approach to the song

  • Otra de mis bandas Favoritas de por vida RADIOHEAD

  • Great video post, but FYI title is wrong...this video was recorded in Saitama, Japan, not Tokyo.

  • Comment removed

  • great performance

  • thom mistakes in the second 3:35 but is the great band in the world

  • Not as riveting a performance as Live BBC Later or Glastonbury which are better vocally and possess more energy.

  • Does anyone know were I can download the audio from this concert?

  • @rock7142 go to keepvid.com download as mp4 file put it in windows movie maker or imovie and extract the audio and drag in onto your desktop. presto! you can put it on your ipod or etc...

  • @rock7142 no but you can download the concert from youtube and then convert it in to audio

  • One of the few bands that are through some incredible feat more amazing live than recorded.

  • Domo arigato.

  • i may sound really close minded and i know that lyrics aren't always supposed to have a clear and specific meaning but i can't really figure out what the lyrics "there's someone on your shoulder" could mean?

  • haha Thom says "we" so green in stead of "Why" 3:33

  • gives me goosebumps every time i listen to it

  • 2:52... Colin kinda looks like Jack from LOST. Haha.

  • Weed, cold beers and Radiohead...

    I dont need anything else

  • @blackfeiticeira dude, so true. i'd be happy if all i did for the rest of my life was blaze and listen to radiohead.

  • @musikyle THANKS AMIGO

  • @musikyle couldn't have said it better myself.

  • Fxxking Love this!

  • OMFG!! Si no lo van a ver en HD mejor no lo vean!!

  • Can't understand this song, but i know it should be about something most beautiful.

  • @Tristancanplayguitar even if you don't understand the lyrics, just listen the music and how the voice works with it. It's pure art, an epic song, from an epic band.

  • Epic performance of an epic song

  • beautiful

  • too many mistaken this time..if u guys noticed?

  • not only is this song amazing, it's so cool visually when they play it live, with the double drums on both sides of thom

  • There are toms on both sides of Thom!

  • haha, it was awesome when he said domo arigato at the end

  • @TheP0e Whats that mean?

  • thank you very much

  • Im a Canadian.. and I love our bands up here... but fuck, the UK puts out the best bands of all fucking time

  • @hendrix142536 and all you have is Rush..

  • @hendrix142536 You sure have, to mention a few: Arcade Fire, Crystal Castles, Japandroids, Death from Above 1979, Alexisonfire, Fucked Up, Nomeansno, Metric, The New Pornographers and ofkors you have the privilege to be proud of Nickleback and Justin Bieber :D

  • Comment removed

  • @irvingcsaltzburg We have fucking Arcade Fire, you dumbass piece of shit.

  • @patrick112590 Yea you do, asshole, and it's a god damn shame they're not as popular as they should be. I actually completely forgot they were Canadian, but regardless the most well known Canadian bands tend to be shit. But that's exactly my point every country has shit bands and great bands, and it's usually much harder to find the bands worth listening to. That guy just assumed the UK has the best bands because many of them just happened to be lucky enough to get popular.

  • @irvingcsaltzburg I agree with you about nationality having nothing to do with it. And my point was slightly ironic, because Win Butler is American.

  • 2:30 Johnny has 4 drum sticks.

  • @leonkennedy74 thts cuz hes anti-establishment, most guys use 2, but jonnys an inavator, 4!! what a frikin legend

  • @leonkennedy74 He's got 4 sticks because two aren't enough for such a genius.

  • @leonkennedy74 Because he's awesome. :D

  • @leonkennedy74 es que johnny greenwood es cabrooooon! por eso tiene 4 XD

  • @leonkennedy74 he got 4 brains exactly

  • @leonkennedy74

what a lucky guy he must be...

  • great song !

  • best fking song best fking band!!!

thom is so amazing, but then again so is everyone else. :P

    RADIOHEAD FOR LIFE =]

    PS. come to Ontario

  • what kind of guitar is johnny greenwood using?

  • Jonny is using the same guitar he has used for years.

Its an American Fender Telecaster, he insterted a killswitch to it and he normally uses a VOX amp.

with a Roland multi effects pedal and wah.

  • its a telecaster plus sir

its got these lace sensor pickups in them, very unique

  • actually he just placed the pickups so he could reach them easily whenever he needs them, I do the same thing with my pickups.

  • @YoshiPower65 i dont get it what do you mean by reach the pick ups?

  • Well it's not still the same. Actually he got two telecaster plus and one other guitar which name i cant remind.

  • @Alaestr the other one is a starcaster

  • @Yoshi. Reminded something more - It's not normal VOX amp. It has been changed by Radiohead's technician (god, my memory is horrible; can't tell what his name is). Although i don't know what exactly has been powered up.

  • @YoshiPower65 This is correct.

  • @GloriousRorschach it is a telecaster custom it has dual lace sensor pick ups in the bridge and a a blue lace sensor in the neck volume and tone knobs plus a killswitch in between his guitar is the coolest thing ever isnt it?

  • It's not telecaster custom, but telecaster plus. From 92' or 94'. Can't remember properly.

  • nearly! he had a Tele plus that he bought in 1991, but that guitar got stolen ages ago (late 90's). he now uses a standard Tele that Plank (their guitar tech) has modified to resemble a Tele plus - lace sensors, cut-off switch etc.

  • If i could, i would kill the stealer and take a guitar myself :)

  • Colin is SO good in this song, Jonny is such a good all around musician, Ed helps Colin keep the beat down, Thom's name is spelled really cool, and hes the best singer on the planet right now. Think about any of the songs he plays guitar in and how good he is. He plays pretty hard riffs WHILE singing. Just great.

  • @70person70 First of all Ed does so much more than that. They way that he uses his guitar to create strange synth-like sounds is a real work of art. And you missed out Phil who is really one of the greatest drummers of the past twenty years with the way he deals with odd time signatures and the like...

  • wowow in the top left hand corner says it all.

5 people from oxford = perfection.

  • I'm sure I won't find a better performance like this... I love there there! and the way Thom sings... As I wrote the other day... The day I find someone like him, I'll go away with. Really...

How I love you Thom Yorke!

  • seems like this entire concert was flawless...i need to see these guys before i die. come back to boston

  • video quality is awesome man, great upload, radiohead just destroyed the audience

  • Thom's body glistens like an angel covered in sweat.

  • Just because you're reading this youtube comment doesn't mean it's there.

  • LOL

  • @klsmrt Just because you seem to be real cheesy does mean you are :)

  • @klsmrt then this reply isn't here either

  • This concert was so well done that it made my day to find this up on youtube, thank you for contributing this

  • omg this is epic...

  • "heaven sent you, to me"

most beautiful line in the song, and Thom delivers it so perfectly.

  • i disagree with you, most beautiful line in the song is:WE ARE ACCIDENTS,WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    MORE THEN BETTER!!!!!!!!!!

  • you know, I listen to other bands and I respect their talent, BUT...then I listen to this and, well...they are from a different dimension. F-ing Radiohead. I love them so much I hate them at times.

  • aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • I love Thom and love the way he said "Thank you very much" in Japanese. It sounds great!!

  • BANG!.....WWOOOOOOO!!!

  • domoO arigathoO.....

    [[[muxazZ graciaz]]]

  • what does phil do during this song?

  • Magic my friend.....magic. : )

  • the cymbals? and he sings.

  • check out there there acoustic live @ le reservoir, it's 100 times better

  • que es lo que dice thom en japones?? XD

  • supongo q ''como estan'' noo? jeje

  • i have the biggest crush on all of them :)

  • How does he get that controlled feed back?

  • ive always wondered that

if you pick two harmonics and then twiddle the tuning pegs on one of them you get the waving effect thats on the recording

as for how thom actually does it live, no idea

  • If you watch the glastonbury 2003 performance u see he kneels with the guitar right in front of a speaker

  • ya, he does that to get the added sustain from the amp

  • He's Thom motherfucking Yorke, that's how.

  • gibson es-125 i beleive

  • Anyone know what kind of guitar Thom uses?

  • goooold. absolutely briliant, and wicked quality. ahhhh i want to see them live again!!!!!!

  • he was about to sing " we are acidents" he said "we are you so green" jejeje. 3:33

  • So tribal, so raw, so eloquently executed! Undeniably eargasmic!! Leaves you screaming, "MORE, MORE, MORE, MORE, MORE, MORE, YESSSS YESSSS YESSSS YESSS YESSSS YESSS, MORE!!!!!"

  • lol @ colin cheesing at the end
