My Father-in-law owns Bananas there. Dino, his wife came up here but he stayed in San Carlos to wait out the weather. We haven't heard from him and are worried. They actually live north of the marina. Can you tell me any more about the conditions down there? Is there a way we can get a message to people there?
Civil defense response seems sufficient at the moment and power lines are being replaced in San Carlos as I type this, the true tragedy is the number of homeless in los ranchitos, Emplame, Guaymas and Santa Clara I suspect as well.

My sister, Tammi Miller, sent me pictures. It looks horrible. My thoughts and prayers to you.

You must have been one of those on the beach in front of the Palapa that I was seeing on the webcam on the Posada Condos, as I watched from Oregon.
I would like to know what we can do to help from a distance since we will not be there until November.
