    I do not own a sedan but I am not opposed to owning one. Your argument has little merit. A sunroof also adds weight. Mechanical hard tops add weight.

    Have you ever seen a car flip? I've seen cars on a smooth track and never once have I seen anything flip. This includes 4 doors. If you'd flip a 4 door (or any car), then you're seriously lacking in driving skill.

  • The k20z3 is better than the z1. The z3 head slighty outflows the z1 head due to the rbc mani, lsd, dual valve springs on both intake and exhaust unlike the z1 only has it on the intake side. basically the z3 is a 2.0litre version of the tsx. ALSO the whole 197hp vs 201hp is due to the oil pump of the z3 which can handle the revs at 9k safely. the z3 intake cam is more agressive then the z1 but has the same exhaust cam as the a2. Other shit that makes the z3 better in many ways

  • You know your stuff. I personally like the K20Z3 and K24A2 oil pump and balance shafts. When I upgraded my RSX-S's mounts, I originally had so much vibration in the cabin. I opted to use the TSX's oil pump and balance shafts with the K24A2 block (with my original K20A2 head). Much smoother! I don't mind the small sacrifice in power for driveability.

  • vicx52o - you have it the other way around, the 06+ Civic Si comes with the z3 have the k20a cam profile as well as the intake manifolds.. not the z1 from 05-06 rsx-s and the actual hp on the z3 is 197 and the z1 is 201hp not 210!!! nor 155 that is the a3 from the base model rsx and 02-05 civic si hatch

IT was only in the rsx for 2 years i just saw the new compact mag and it showed the k20z1 dyno 160whp wich is kinda of low but they said they used the best dyno i forgot the name

  • yes positive. they dont make high compression pistons with the same compression ratio..its either high compression for n/a 12:1+ or above, or low compression pistons for boost. 9.0:1 or lower.
