  • well done

  • the TLC jar is pre-filled with what?!

  • What do you use as the solvent in the jar? It is very unclear!!

  • German. The "1" he writes and he doesn't pronounce "-er" at the end of words. Rul-uh for ruler.

  • very helpful video! thanks!

  • Definitely German. The way he writes the "1" on the TLC plate before placing it in the jar is very German.

  • this is not german accent! this is korean

  • judging by their finger tips I'm going to have to say definitely not Indian

    Does sound German-ish though

Is there actually work in the UK for Chemists?

I was just wondering what planet a chemistry degree would have value.

but I came across the video because I had never heard of this before.

  • @TheStoicAgnostic A chemistry degree does not guarantee a job, but it is a pre-requisite for many of them in the chemical field. If the pay isn't appealing then the job security is. Very few people are qualified for such positions so you don't have to worry about some new guy coming in and taking your place.

  • this is indian accent

  • This video is a great help, this dude has saved my science homework.

I can hear his saliva though...

  • What kind of plate (sorbent) is it ?

  • why cant the compound touch the solvent or immersed ..i just knw it cant idk y

  • it can dissolve in the solvent if it is immersed. keeping it above the solvent allows the solvent to travel up, carrying the compound.

  • Thanks!
