since that time (i.e Abraham time) people used to come for pilgrimage (haj which means come to the sacred place).. but with time.. people started to add up icons, images, statues to commomerate the Only God..(Allah) and eventually they started to invent other Gods.. sons, daughters, lovers, helpers.. etc... and that is when the paganisme started... then Mohamed came and cleaned up the Ka3ba again.. and knocked down all the statues.. and requested we pray for the ONLY GOD... then the haj rituals started actually from that time.. we commomerate Hajar when she was left with her son Ismael alone and had no more water.. running and praying between the two mountains of Safa and Marwa.. until God exhausted her prayer . and a well .of a spring water came out which is the same zamzam well till today 7K years.. and that well never ended.. mashallah... as for turniing around the ka3ba that was how abraham ritual was.. also we commemorate that ritual.. praying the only one GOD

As for slavery.. it was an economical system ... in the Americas.. in the arab world before islam and in the world in general.. the Coran / Islam came and actually encouraged in freeing slave.. every time people did sins they needed to repent by freeing a slave.. if not then fast..or giving money to poor.. lots of verses on the Coran are about giving up your slave to repent.. also slaves were actually not treated as harsh in terms of punishements as free man.. their punishments were half...

The African slave trade was 500 years old by the time the Portuguese bought their first slave. If the muslim slave traders had thought it was wrong to sell muslim slaves to non-muslims then they wouldn't have done it.

so the point is ... what? Moslems over in Africa sold their kind into slavery and profited heavily by doing so, which we all know (although some want to ignore because it doesn't fit the "black man good, white man bad" narrative).
