I have a bone stock 1994 Camaro Z-28 6 speed and I think it would eat this car alive,,it will go from a dead stand to 100 mph in the blink of a eye,,oh well nothing ugly intended and I may be wrong.

Not possible. All '70 Chevelle Super Sports came from the factory with green lettering/lights. The white didn't come out until '71.

@governmentslaves Malibu's had a completely different dash. The 3 round gauges is a Chevelle SS dash. the gauge on the far let is the tach, center is the speedo, right is a clock. Malibu's had a large rectangular speedo without a tach.

Do you know where i can get one of the large fuel guages? in going a resto on one of these ande you like to swap the clock for a fuel guage and put an oil psi where the small fuel guage is. i don't trust idiot lights.

@MrJesusistheway77 LS5 454s weren't that quick (absolutely slaughtered one with my '71 Chevelle with a build .030 over 350 and 4.11s) but the LS6 cars were solid low to mid 13s cars stock if you could hook them up.

@Scottwax damn... that must of been one hell of a 350... but that nova's over 1000 pounds lighter than the Chevelles. Still impressive though. (i just bought a 1970 Chevelle SS 396 car(AC,PB,PS) , not a stock engine, the guy had the dyno charts proving the 396 is turning 550hp 540 lb/ft. the body has got some surface rust on it but is repairable. Not bad for only being a 17 year old coming out of my junior year of high school!)

Yea but you have to understand back in the 70's there was no such thing as "Fuel Injection" and modern electronics. Back then it was hit the gas and hold on. I wish I was born back then...

Elevation, carb tuning, ignition tuning, throttle cable positioning kills car acceleration.

From my expierence, my 454 chevelle felt slower than my v6 tacoma for some time. Changed the plugs and wires, dist. cap, and fixed the throttle cable braket...whole different animal smoking the rear tires from a 30 roll
