  • I'm sorry, but this has to be true. I can't see how it's not. I love the LDS religion and I'm proud to be a member. I have never regretted it nor will I ever leave it. I was born into the church and have been strong in the faith my entire life. I know that Thomas S Monson is our current prophet on the earth today. I know that Jesus Christ is our savior and redeemer and I love him so much.

  • Thank you Dear Lord, I am not alone

  • Saved by Grace alone let no man Boast , You need the real bible , not some fake religion , Galations 8;1 last book in revelation read what happens when you alter the word of god so you can make yourself a god ,, Go figure.

  • @questmotivation my reply is not for you since you have the answers but for those that might seeking truth and understanding. Couple of questions: 1) When was the first warning given about "altering" 2) Who decided what was to be included in NT and when 3) When was Rev. written 4) What was John's reference to "words of the prophecy of this book" 5) What authority are you on Elder Holland's beliefs

  • @questmotivation "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone...shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith BY my works...Thou believest there is one God; thou doest well: THE DEVILS ALSO BELIEVE AND TREMBLE. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that without works is dead? Was not Abraham, our father, justified by his works..? Seest thou how faith wrought with...works, and by works was faith made perfect?" James 2

  • Saved by grace, after all we can do... that's what the scriptures teach us. It's not boasting to do all we can in trying to be like our Savior in our words, thoughts, and actions. It's following the example He set for us. I read the bible all the time, and I also read the Book of Mormon as another testament of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon takes nothing away from the bible, but only adds additional witnesses of the life and mission of Jesus Christ. I invite you to read it for yourself.

  • One of the most reverent treatments of the subject I have ever heard.

  • As we made our way to the back yard, I remember thinking, "God is all-powerful. He is our only refuge from this horrible mess." I prayed and prayed for Him to still the earth.

  • As the earthquake became more violent, the mission home groaned and wailed. The power died, so the whole city was black. The windows made a hideous screeching sound, and flying objects banged against swaying walls.

  • The printer/fax machine, books, book ends, and fifty-pound television burst from the entertainment center and crashed to the floor, cabinets emptied, drawers flew open, the refrigerator moved, water sloshed out of the toilets, the floor jolted up and down as we ran across it trying to hold onto the walls to keep from falling down, and the piano toppled over like a small toy.

  • What you are feeling when you hear and see this, the silence of awe that follows, the welling of tears in your eyes, is the Spirit testifying you have heard truth, pure unadulterated truth. Thank heaven-literally- that such truth can be found and that such men exist who can bear it!

  • I have been baptised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on august 30th, and I don't regret it for one second. I have seen this video perhaps 10 times now, and more and more I know that I have made the right decision and that this Church is the real one for me. Faith has become a big part of my life and I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ help me day by day.

  • @reneleie

It's all true Rene, its all true. I hope you are doing well at one year in this Church!

  • I am paying the rent of a woman whose husband left her for another woman leaving her with an infant and short of money. I e-mailed her the end of this talk where he says that we aren't alone, where we are actually always with help from God. This will become a classic talk.

  • i dare any anti mormon person to bash them some more after hearing this message without feeling remorse

  • I loved this talk so much when I first heard it. I have later found out that it was inspired in part by the loneliness and depression a close friend was dealing with which has made it all the more incredible and increased my testimony that elder Holland is an apostle of the lord.

  • Thanks for all the great comments. Be sure to listen or view the entire talk from Elder Holland. He has a very special and profound understanding of the Atonement. joe

  • Wow. That was incredible. Thanks for sharing.

  • After watching such a video, there remains the question: Are Mormons Christians? I think those who think not after watching this are just complete fools.

  • Sorry, I ment to give you a thumbs up and messed up!

  • It's all good man.

  • Thank you for posting this. At the conclusion of Elder Holland's talk my wife just said "wow". Combining this music and the video into the presentation is wonderful. What an appropriate Easter message.

  • I appreciate how Elder Holland paid tribute to the most sacred and remarkable event in history. God really loves us! God bless all of you!

  • This talk touched me when I heard it in General Conference and this video touches me even more. I love Jeffrey R. Holland, he is definitely my favorite Apostle.

  • This movie is absolutely wonderful. Do you know if they made a video in which the entire talk was encompassed?

  • Absolutely awesome!! Thanks for posting this video, so that it can be watched over many times.

  • Thank you for posting this. It really brought easter to me this year.

  • The same for me, thanx for posting, joe

  • Absolutely amazing. You cant watch this without being touched!

This Easter week and always, may we stand by Jesus Christ at all times and in all things, and in all places that [we] may be in, even until death, for surely that is how He stood by us when it was unto death and when He had to stand entirely and utterly alone.

  • I agree and the full talk given by Elder Holland was so moving that it was no surprise to see the Church create this Video. joe
