sorry but i have never weigh a fish as i am fishing for fun and only kept 1 golden trev for eating.I know you should not handle them with dry hands or wipe the sand of them but in the exitement you dont think .We had to stop filming but did revive him properly for 10 min and he swam away happy.I am loading another good one of a shark now.look for Exmouth shark.

no offense, but the release wasen't really nice. move him back and forward in a bit of deeper water than that. but mainly it's not good to wipe of the sand like that. you take away the slime that protects fish from infections and also hurt the skin.
Wow, I'd be surprised if that poor GT survived, the way you two clowns manhandled it. A bit more care next time.
